Good Points: Any Bonnie Raitt collection is going to be worth the money. These tracks were hand picked by her for this collection.
Bad Points: Too much of her superior output from the 1970's is omitted. It is recommended that buyers seek out tracks such as the Randy Newman penned "Guilty", Raitts compositions such as "Louise," "Home," and "Stayed Too Long at the Fair."
General comments: Bonnie Raitt, The Best of Bonnie Raitt Review - While Raitt came into her own in the mid-1980's with her string of Pop Rock releases, many fans are not aware that her first release dates back to the 1970's.This collection contains a lion's share of classics. The 80's hits and best LP cuts such as "Thing Called Love," "Nick of Time," and "Something to Talk About" are a must for the collection, even better is the aching ballad "I Can't Make You Love Me," "Love Me Like A Man" takes her back to her classic 70s blue, this one performed live. This is not the definitive Raitt collection, but it is well worth the money and includes tracks not available on the superior "The Bonnie Raitt Collection."
