Good Points: The gun is almost entirely made from machined metal parts.Very good price.Parkerized finish.Good accuracy.
Bad Points: None
General comments: I was pleasantly surprised when I bought this gun. Before purchasing it I had read many horror stories about Chinese quality control and I was expecting to get a gun that would require a lot of work. Fortunately the gun I received was perfect. It is equal in quality to the RWS Model 48. In some areas it is actually better. Unlike the Model 48, all of the B-21's parts are metal. Not only are they stronger, but they also look much better. I like the parkerized finish more than a blued finish. It was applied evenly and looks great. It is also much more durable. I accidentally brushed the barrel against a metal door frame and the finish scratched the door frame. The stock was also nice looking. I am not familiar with the type of wood but it has more grain than many of the beech stocks found on much more expensive guns. It has a nice looking satin finish on it. I was amazed at how smooth the gun was right out of the box. The cocking effort is very reasonable. The gun also has a very effective anti beartrap feature that makes it very safe to shoot. The trigger was initially around 8 pounds but it is adjustable down to around 3.5 pounds. Since it is a heavy gun, there is little felt recoil. It still moves enough to make a scope stop a necessity. I have a Center Point 4-16 X 40MM mounted on the gun and so far I have not had any issues with scope shift. Mine is .22 caliber and is ideal for hunting. This is not a good gun for beginners however. It is heavy for an air rifle and takes a good bit of skill to shoot accurately. It is very hold sensitive and hard to shoot from and offhand position. Once mastered it is very accurate. I can put 5 pellets into one ragged hole at 20 yards. A great rifle for a beginner to try would be one of the lower powered Chinese sidelever rifles such as the Tech Force 58. For the price there is no better rifle than the B-21. It can compete with rifles that cost many times more. I would recommend that anyone looking at purchasing a RWS model 48 also take a good look at the B-21 or the B30-1.

I probably have at least 500 rounds through this Xisco B-21 / Supermax1000 rifle and it's still shooting strong. If it ever does wear out I will replace it with another B-21. I just hope the B-21's aren't hit or miss quality wise and I just lucked out this time.
I sold all my other air rifles. After 3 years of having a Winchester 1000, RWS 350 Magnum (the 1250 fps one), a POS TF-99, and the B21, I noticed that I started to only use the B21. Using Crosman 10.5 grainers the B21 was the most ...- Read 13maley's review (208 words)

Ive had my B21in .22 for a few months now and it is already my favorite, I think I lucked out and got the well made demo model lol. Close to 2000 rounds later and it still shoots like new. It never dieseled on me, no spring twang, and it seems to enjoy a tight hold because now I'm hitting penny sized targets at 40yds no problem. I put a Bushnell trophy 3-9X40 on top with a leapers accushot 1 piece mount. Starlings never knew what hit them, all of them were 1 shot kills at 30+yds. Great gun for t ...- Read Guest's review (114 words)

This is a great rifle. You will need a scope to maximize its power and accuracy potential, so make sure you get a one piece scope base and make sure everything is really tight. Make a small tick mark with a grease pen or pencil or whatever so you can tell if you are starting to get slippage of the scope base. Don't get mad if your groups are much bigger than you read about, this is a hard gun to master but nothing a little practice won't cure.- Read jackflintstone's review (317 words and 1 comment)

I bought my Xisco B21 from Cougar Ridge about a year ago. I had done a lot of research on it before buying. I found Charlie Da Tuna.com. I down loaded the B21 Instructions from his site, and studied his whole process of cleaning and lubing the B21.
I made a spring compressor and every thing before hand.
I already knew what to expect when I got it.
It was covered in dried oil and preservative.
I carefully took it apart and followed the instructions.
I begain shooting it with the only .177 pe ...- Read Bigbrad's review (127 words and 1 comment)

Overall the Xisco B-21 is good value for the money. We have all heard the horror stories, but that has not been my experience. I improved accuracy by reworking the release sear per Charlie the Tunna. The trigger pull was too stiff and could not be adjusted to my liking. Basically just a light polishing of the associated parts was all that was needed. Some would say well there you go, that's exactly why these guns are poor. I disagree, if one is willing to perform a little TLC these guns wi ...- Read littlebear's review (177 words)

I bought the B21I bought the B21 in October from Cougar Ridge Cougar Ridge Trading Post.com for $99+shipping ($12). I am very happy with it in spite of some unpleasant incidents. I searched on line and find this is the lowest price. I called to order one and it came in 5 days. Like most of the reviews, it did not look nice since the metal parts are sprayed with anti-rust stuff. Finally, it was shining and great looking after 40 minutes clean up. I checked the screws, some of them were loos ...- Read lix's review (624 words)

I bought my Xisco B-21 about a month ago from BestAirgun.com, Got it within a week(happy me).
Opened the box and there it was, a beautifull peace of airgun design.
When I picked it up for the first time I tought to myself DAMN heavy! And Dirty! But after some intensive cleaning, a month of practice and about 1000pellets I got pretty Used to it and shoot 5 shot groups in 1/2inch at 20meters, with my Walther 6x42 Scope and Dampamount.
Havent been able to test its power jet, but I also have a Di ...- Read Wiebel's review (133 words)

Very happy with the purchase of this "bad" looking Xisco B-21 and shooting gun. This is a serious piece of equipment at almost 10 pounds it feels similar to a russian built rifle. Excellent finish (parkerize) and the wood is up to spec.
A good gun for ages 25 and up. NOT A BEGINNER GUN!- Read gunner1's review (72 words)

This write up is on my experience with both the RWS 34 and Xisico B-21. My ratings are for the B-21
I reside in California USA.
About a year ago, a decided to own a springer like the one I had 40 years ago as a kid.
After much internet reading, I took a liking for the RWS 48.
However after some thinking, I talked myself into the RWS 34 in .22.
I received the gun about 4 months ago.
Out of the box, it was clear this was a quality peace.
In my eyes, beauty in its simplest form.
I've shot o ...- Read diazr56's review (551 words and 2 comments)

Faced with almost a dozen chipmunks taking over my back yard, I wanted something to rid myself of them without attracting attention. A .22 LR would be perfect if I lived in the country, but in a suburban area, that wouldn't work.
After purchasing a TF97 .177 a couple months ago, I was floored at how accurate an air rifle could be. I was shooting 1" groups at about 10 yards with the TF97 and knew that I needed greater accuracy than that for my task. After much research I stumbled upon this ...- Read mbuechler's review (463 words)

I got my B22 from Pellettrap.com very quickly! The first thing I noticed was how rough the gun looked out of the box! Do not be discouraged because this gun has real potential! You should immediately take the gun apart deburring everything with an edge including all trigger parts! It should be sold as a kit instead! By filing and finish sanding all trigger parts you can get a very light long first stage and a very crisp 2lb second stage! This guns trigger now equals that of my Webley Xocet ...- Read lsurber's review (237 words and 2 comments)

I removed it from the box and shot about 25 shots. The thing is so weak that pellets would not go through a card board box from 20 feet away. The accuracy was so bad that with both front and rear sights adjusted max elevation it would hit about 12 inches low from 20 feet away. I think that I may have received a defective gun.- Read Pigeon Killer's review (75 words and 4 comments)

I was surprised by the power and real gun feel of the B21 in .22 caliber. After getting used to my cheaper chinese pump guns, this was a great upgrade. It is like shooting a 30-06 gun without the noise or expense. Many reviews are critical of poor workmanship. Don't believe it. This gun is very well constructed, with fine wood and all really nicely finished metal. A bargain.- Read T R Stevens's review (84 words)

After reading many people who had posted on many different internet forums and looking for a good high powered magnum class side cocking rifle I decided to get the Xisco B-21 / Supermax1000 from Funsupply. Like most of the the Chinese made airguns it was necessary to flush out all the storage oils and tear it apart in order to debur it and to tune it. I decided to cut the front sight ramp off which was tacky anyway in my opinion plus it shaved off 1 1/4 pounds off the gun. I also got the Maccari ...- Read mcmahon48's review (978 words)

Introduction
I was going a little nuts, I had ordered on a Sunday, and it was now Tuesday of the next week. UPS ground is way too slow for airguns, ask for 3-day, unless you're really patient, or can busy yourself with other "toys." I had waited to order for a few weeks because I had quite a bit of money coming to me in tax returns, and I wanted to check the info on the web to make sure I wasn't getting a POS. I walked out to get the mail to find a very long box sitting on the porch. The UPS gu ...- Read Suburban's review (1586 words and 1 comment)

I played with cheap airguns for awhile, and still enjoy them, but I began hearing about the B-21, and finally bought one for myself. The only thing I would change (if I were redesigning it) is a better stock finish and attractive blueing instead of the more practical but dull phosphatizing.
It shoots well right out of the box, but I find that it takes a firm grip to get good accuracy. Hold it well into your shoulder, as if it were a highpower rifle. Light grips apparently allow the strong ...- Read kbmoly's review (311 words and 1 comment)

I bought mine from Fun Supply. nice place. Right out of the box, it shot nicely. Great sights and stock. My MAJOR complaint, It weighs too much. Built like a Tank. I had a problem with the rear sight coming loose, but an application of "Goop" fixed it.- Read Tom's review (58 words)
