Good Points: This mobile fits in my side pocket and always gets a signal. The battery lasts for a few days.

Bad Points: It doesn't lay golden eggs.

General comments: This is a small phone that is very reliable. That's all that I was looking for, and for the price this you can't beat it.

I am an owner of a Nokia 5185i mobile phone and it helps me a great deal. When I am bored I am able to play games or call. If I am needed somewhere I can be paged if the person paging me does not have a phone, or if they do they can call me. There are 40 available tones already and 5 more downlaodable tones can be added. This phone is cheap but does more than an expensive phone, so save your money for this one!

The Nokia 5185i mobile phone totally sucks. I hate having this phone. All you can do with it is play a few games (not very good ones) and make phone calls. It has horrible features and for me it won't get reception even if I'm in the middle of my home calling area. Maybe it's the phone... maybe it's the company I go through, but either way it sucks. You can't get any ringtones since nobody provides them for this phone (at least not to the U.S.) and I can't find any web sites that have logos that ...

I don't like this Nokia 5185i mobile phone-it sucks. i have tried to download ringtones on this phone but i cannot find a website that will take the 5185i series. This was one of the reasons i got this cell phone and my phone drops calls and does not say charged for no more then a day. one of my good friends has a 5165i series and her cell phone can go for about 2-3 day with having to charge. Her cell phone can also recieve ringtones, i am not happy at all with this cell phone

My Nokia 8158i mobile phone has great features, but cuts out and is very choppy. Very disappointed in phone as far as clarity and being able to hear. Either the phone or just digital service. My old analogue phone was a lot better.

The nokia 5185i is a great phone and has some pretty cool features. Where i live there has never been a cell phone that could make or receive a call but my Nokia 5185i can! This has excellent coverage!!!!!!!! Something to think about, but if you want a ton of features than this probably wouldn't be the phone you want! But it is an awesome phone!

For my first mobile phone I expected a lot more features for what it retails for, but hey you can't win them all right? Very dependable great all around. No downloading for this phone really hurts the ratings.

This is a good mobile phone if you are interested in using your phone for talking and nothing else. It gets decent reception, although it could be better.

For e.g. If you call your bank customer service, they expect you to press keys to select different options. once you press any of the keys. "Navi-Key" points to Options.
if you select "options", it shows mute, flash and end all calls. You have to scroll down to end to terminate calls. so unless you are paying attention to the menu, you will leave the phone on for some time wasting wireless minutes (like I did).

i like it. it serves its purpose and its fun to use. its just that i cant get the tones downloaded. it has to be a 5165, 8260 phone to do it. maybe if i had text messaging it may work???

Digital upgrade from Nokia 252. Better clarity, longer battery life. Many extra features and smaller size.
