The Donnay Driver is the best driver ever made in my opinion. I've played golf for 22years pro never hit a driver that feels so good and controllable. Unfortunately, like most drivers it costs to much money.

Picked this up a few years ago in a sports shop for £5.
Cant see any reason to buy a £300 driver as I can bash this thing 300 yards off the tee. Whos needs a expensive driver! - its not the club its your swing - buy one of these and spend the rest on lessons :-)

A bargain overall. The average golfer does not need to spend £200+ on a driver that hits no better than the Donnay. More expensive drivers are for the "snob" value golfer.

The Donnay Driver is a bargain of a club. On a good hit able to drive 300 yards and straight + and even on a slight miss hit a 250 yrd drive is well within reach. Scuffs easily and isn't forgiving for a violent hooker of the ball but certainly a good buy.

I bought the Donnay driver for £15 and I haven't looked back. I'm hitting the ball further than with my last driver, and I'm hitting the ball higher. A fantastic driver.

The Donnay Driver golf iron is the best club I have ever used, for a small price of only £14.99 from sports and soccer sale! I like it because I feel very comfortable, and it is very light. I am off to play golf at Belfairs golf club tomorrow, and I am going to use this club a lot because of its sheer greatness. 10 out of 10!! :)

When I first used this Donnay Driver I didn't expect much, but I hit my furthest shot ever at over 250 yrds. The ball goes exactly where I want it every time with this club. Extreemly cheap, I got it for £15.00. The only bad thing is that the grip is terrible.

Donnay Driver (Adult Size) - In my back field by the grave yard I hit a nice 180 yard shot, I know that isn't that good, but this is the 3rd time I have ever played golf. This golf club is the beast. So don't delay, get your drivers out!

Got the Donnay Driver about a month ago and have been unbeatable in my last 4 rounds. Had a Wilson Reflex driver which was ok but not very forgiving. This one is Ace and get good distance even with off center hits.

I am delighted with my Donnay slammer II 9.5 deg. driver. I payed only £25 for it from Lillywhites. I find it to be fairly forgiving especially as I am a beginner, it splits the fairway with most drives and you get a satifying little 'ting' when you hit the sweet spot which frankly is pretty big for a £25 driver. The other great thing about them is that they can be bought in 9.5 or 10.5 deg. depending on your preference and also can be bought with reg or stiff flex shafts. Also, when ...

There's a big debate about cheap golf clubs and ecspensive golf clubs and whether a good golf club will make a not so good player good!Or a cheap driver will take you backwards. I do believe a good driver can help you and sometimes 'cheapies' don't work, but, if you're a useless golfer and decide to waste £200 or more on one golf club then I feel sorry for you. I bought my Donnay driver 3 weeks ago and the first golf round I used it on I made my best ever score just because of my perfect d ...

I bought my Donnay Driver (adult size) set with 3 woods, 9 irons, a bag with hood, 4 head covers, tee holder with tees and green markers for £130 from Sports Soccer just outside Leeds. I had been shopping around all the usual places (stores, internet auctiond etc.) for ages and haven't seen a better deal than this.

I also bought an aluminium trolley for buttons, golf shoes for £20, a towel, glove and ..... wait for it ..... 15 brand new balls FOR ONLY £5 !!!

    The pro shop ...

I've been playing golf for quite a while now, but i'm really still a beginner. My first real set of clubs were in the Donnay Evolution set, which I find to be a good set of clubs, as I say I'm a begginner, so I don't know if they're stitable for experts, but both my dad and myself use these and I think they're fantastic. They aren't very expensive either, which is good because clubs can really be a lot of money.

I wanted to take up golf a while ago but was put off by high golf club prices, then I saw the Donnay Evolutions. These clubs are absolutely fantastic for the new comers. They are very inexpensive (irons £10 & woods £15) and they actualy hit really well with a nice large sweet spot. They feel good and sound good when they hit the ball too. 200 yards with my 3 wood and that's not bad at all!

Having owned three sets of clubs in my golfing lifetime I thought I would give these £100 Donnays a try. After all, if they were not up to much I could sell them on at half-price and lose out on the equivalent of one round of golf. I tried them and over the first three rounds I shaved 8 strokes off my typical score. Coincidence? Who knows, BUT I now hit my woods 15-20 yds further (and straighter) than before and never before have I placed the ball so regularly on the green from long and me ...

Ok, so it's not the longest, or the stiffest driver out there, but it looks ok, I can hit it pretty far considering and it costs anywhere from ten to twenty pounds ( or one twentieth of an end-of-line wilson deep red 365 ). If you are considering taking up golf, I recommend the Doonay ProEvolutions as your first set - decent enough irons to learn on, the five and seven woods are blinders and the driver is not too shabby with a nice 12 degree loft to get the ball in the air. you'll get your fairw ...

I have to disagree with Happy Hacker. I saw him hit a golf ball further with this club than his won more expensive one.
Power is effortlessly transferred through to the ball and if Andrew Davies leaves it in a bin somewhere it doesn't really matter.

Appalling golf club - although if you fit a reel to the grip, the shaft is whippy enough to mak a good fishing rod.

    DON'T BUY CHEAP GOLF EQUIPMENT
