Summary

Ask Jeeves.com dropped the famous butler some time ago and implemented a raft of upgrades to create the new ask.com UK. Although acclaimed by critics to be better than Google it still faces an enourmous challenge to attempt to win people over to it's clever search engine. Most notable is Ask.com use of search term suggestions built from common searches conducted by other users on it's Teoma database. Despite being a competitor to Google, Ask.com advertising is sourced from Google. It will be interesting to see the future of AskJeeves in a consolidating market. Have you experienced AskJeeves.com and want to tell others about your opinion, positive or negative it can be about anything to do with Ask Jeeves.com

Ask.com is a good search engine which is probably often overlooked like so many others due to Google's dominance. I do use it ocassionally when I feel google is not giving me the results I want. Some handy features are the 'add to my stuff' link and the filter dropdownboxes. Overall I recommend you give them a try: www.ask.com

For me personally, the Ask Jeeves search engine is the best web search engine out there. It's the first engine I try, and if by some slim chance Jeeves comes up empty, I go to Yahoo as my second choice.
When you search from the homepage, you will receive numerous results. I recommend Jeeves all the time when asked.

Ask Jeeves must have the world's best marketing campaign, because it is the world's worst search engine.

Many people use Ask Jeeves because it has a picture of a butler, and they like the novelty of asking the butler a question. They also think that using a search engine like Google is more complicated.

I always use ask as they search through about 6 different engines for you, so you usually get the information you want quickly and without having to trawl trough loads of site before.

I mostly use ask jeeves when I want to explore several sources of information or I suspect the info will be hard to find. They always seem to provide the right answers and provide comprehensive choices for the consumer.
