Jimi Hendrix, Electric Ladyland, need I say any more? With yet another 2 versions of Voodoo Child (Voodoo Chile(Blues) and Voodoo Child slight return) shows Jimi's versatility on making a great song even better... 'Burning of the Midnight Lamp' still sounds as good today which shows how Hendrix was making music way ahead of his time. This is easily one of Hendrix's easier listening albums, in that the songs are generally close to the norm. However, this is also probably one of the most over-rated albums as most people put it as Hendrix's best work. I would prefer 'Are you experienced?' for overall quality. You might say that I am being nit-picky, but I am comparing two HENDRIX albums. When compared to other artists will be rated extremely highly. A must have for all Hendrix fans.
