“immortal phone”

★★★★★

written by Jerdiam on 06/09/2018

This phone has been working for years! I last week specifically checked, now such devices are no longer done. At that time it was a cool phone, and now about him a lot of memes on the Internet.

poor keyboard display, black letters & numbers would be seen better, most disappointing feature is that it cannot receive picture messages

“YES!”

★★★★★

written by RowanAdkins14 on 01/03/2017

There are today, two reasons for owning a mobile 'phone. ONE/for 'soshal meeja'...all the tweeting and Instagrams and Farcebook comments and Googling things you can't be bothered to learn about and taking photos...etc,etc. TWO/for ringing people. Yes,...bit of a shock, that,eh? Not EVERYONE wants or needs a miniature computer in their pocket when at work,as we don't all work in 'sales' or have 'urgent meetings'-some of us actually work. ...and,if you work for a living, you want/need a 'phone that won't let you down. One that gives not one hoot about water, weather, hills, rough handling,mud-even finding itself outside with you during a rainstorm-meh. 3310 to the rescue! Yes;rain,wind,snow,mud,floods...my 3310 has come through the lot-and still,17 years later AND on the original battery,it's THE reliable phone. That's 'phone',not 'playstation';but if the effluence has interfaced with the air conditioning & it's a solid,reliable,no-nonsense means of communication you need-the Nokia 3310 is it. When your iphone's a distant memory, your 3310 will still be going. TRUST it.

“good value for money, a months battery life,...”

★★★★☆

written by Reviewexpert5 on 04/06/2013

This is a basic phone. First of all the battery life is out of this world lasting a month of heavy use between charges. Also it is seemingly indestructable from water and schock impacts. The downsides are though that the screen is very poor resolution and not colour and the features are very basic. I love the simplicity of use and the value for money though.

“My first phone”

★★★★☆

written by rupal2 on 30/08/2011

This was the first mobile phone I ever had. It served its purpose, to allow me to call and text. Looking back at it, it does look very dated, however it was very durable, was a reliable phone to have.

one of the most rigid phone from the arsenal of Nokia delivered to consumer.
Though it lacked some of the features offered by competitors but but is build qulity was always pat on the back.
phone was bulky.
Heavy, sometimes felt like to have another pocket

I have had my Nokia 3310 since it first came out, over nine years ago. It is a brilliant phone, has never let me down and so easy for texting. The keys are well spaced and the letters are big especially for someone with failing eye sight like me. I have changed the battery once using a used battery from someone elses nikia. My Nokia 3310 is still in mint condition with no scratches or marks. It has been dropped and sat on which never affected it. They don't make tham like that now.

★★★★★

written by tockus on 26/01/2009

I bought this phone about seven years ago, but hadn't used it for about two years. A new sim card and I was away again with same battery.
This phone really is a classic. Does'nt do all the fancy things that modern mobiles do, but is utterly reliable for phoning and texting. There can't be a better mobile for the very young or very old, abd I should know! May seem a bit heavy by todays standards, but it is reassuringly solid.
If you want to go into the pub or office flashing your all singing dancing phone this isn't for you, but if you want reliability and ease of use, you can't do better.

“This is the best phone I have ever owned. I got it...”

★★★★★

written by bjshanahan on 12/11/2008

This is the best phone I have ever owned. I got it second hand (was already about a year old) when I was 11 and over 6 years later it is still going strong. This phone has never died on me for any reason. It has been soaked, fallen upon, dropped from heights of over 6 feet, thrown, etc. and everything still works perfectly.
This is also the most easy to use phone ever invented due to its lack of technology. The lack of technology is its strong point, not its weakness. Any phone that can keep going for over 7 years is very impressive. Thoroughly recommended to anyone wanting a highly reliable and easy to use phone.

I have had my Nokia 3310 for some time and love it because it is so easy to use and easy to handle with the key pad ect
it is easy to read ,send messages, answer, end, the only thing it does not do is take pictures and have a radio,
people like my self we need a phone like this one as we are getting older and do not understand how to work some of the modern phones and this one is so easy to read as our eye sight
cannot read the new smaller screens and words

★★★☆☆

written by strongcelebi on 23/06/2007

The Nokia 3310 is good for kids. Or if you don't really use a phone. It's easy to use, makes calls, texts - All you'd expect from a phone. But, if you like a camera on a phone and all the latest features this isn't for you.
Again - It does what you'd expect a phone to do, good spare phone etc. Not good for business.
Alternatives/Upgrades :

I must have had the Nokia 3310 phone for 5 years, on PAYG Genie/BT Cellnet(!) SIM card. It's great for simple txts and calls. It's really tough, and survived much abuse.

I bought new higher capacity a couple of years ago and it last about 5 days between charges.

I have a cable to hook up up to my PC. It's a bit fiddly but it works, so I have a copy of my phone book, but I've never needed it - yet!

written by Carlh on 05/12/2006

What can I say. Still one of the best phones I've ever owned. Super reliable and built like a brick, literally. My uncle was on the phone on the top of a crane. He dropped his 3310 about 100ft down while he was talking. He went to the bottom and the bloke was still at the other end on his way to see if he was OK. It needed a new case, that was it. 100ft on to concrete. I don't think many other phone would have survived this. I want to buy another now though.
