Good Points: Looks, exclusivity, bullet-proof Nokia build quality, logical operating system.

    Bad Points: Absolutely nothing!!

General comments: This Nokia 8910i is a stunning mobile phone handset, looks great and works just as well - call quality, GPRS, BlueTooth, MMS, etc., all are excellent. The choice is simple - if you're a serious business user, to whom frankly daft polyphonic ring tones are an abhorrence, with limited need for a camera and who takes pride in high quality kit, then this is by far and away the best/only choice. The fact that it does not have these 'faddy' features just underscores the fact that this is a professional quality, serious piece of hardware...it's simply too classy to need gimmicks. I can't believe the moaners banging on about the cost - that's simply the price if high quality materials and exclusivity. If you need to worry about the price, then you can't afford it...

The Nokia 8910i remains the King of the Mobile Phone Media, it's what everyone wants.

You can have your 1 megapixel camera phones, mp3 phones, radio phones (bla bla bla), but when it comes down to sheer class, this stunner leaves everyone behind.

I've had loads of phones before (camera phones), and although they're good, you just cannot compare it with this beauty.

The features are the same as the Nokia 402, no i'm exaggeratin, erm, 7210 shall we say apart from the radio, but the looks ...

This Nokia 8910i mobile phone caught my eye some time ago,its small,
black (yes black not silver)and when you press those two side buttons and the keypad is revealed i couldn't help but smile.
I've had the phone now for two weeks and have no gripes with performance at all.Battery life is good.Reception also is good where others have been poor. The menu operation is the usual Nokia affair (if it aint broke....). The bluetooth function works well even with my sony headset. If there was something ...

I didn't have this Nokia 8910i mobile phone for a long time, i used to have a 7250i but too many people got it and the look of it is not as good as the 8910i. when i took the 8910i out everyone on the street would look at me, and this is what i wanted. I am a person who likes things diffrernt from everyone. Instead of using cheap plastic this phone is made out of titanium which brings out its high status. If u are the person who likes to be different from everyone else and liked classy phones t ...

If your a flash git like me then this Nokia 8910i is the mobile phone for you! The sheer satisfaction that you get out of clicking those two side buttons and watching the phone slide out of its shell is bliss! Okay...on a more serious note this is one eye catching phone. The features are DECENT but thats it. You get your basic nokia functions (good phone book/messaging services etc). Extra applications and features are lacking though, especially for a phone this expensive (£500ish). It co ...

I got a Samsung E710, and it was rubbish, so when i spoke to Vodafone about a replacement the only phone i was intrested in was a Nokia 8910i.
And when i got this phone i was so happy, feature wise it didnt compare to my 7250i(expept for bluetooth). But as soon as you feel the cold metal of the phone in your hand and press the two silver buttons on the side of the phone you get a smile over your face as the mobile rises out of its case! Its when you see this happen that you relise that this is ...

I know I will probably get monstered by the Nokia people for this(blue writing at the bottom..just watch them go!!) but the Nokia 8910i phone has nothing to justify the high price apart from looks and feel! I am aware that, for example a 7250i retails for £300 but can be bought for free with a contract and this is a £500 phone going for £280 and upwards but why?...with a P900(similar price but completely different thing I know) you can see where the work has gone with the featur ...

Having owned the original 8910, I was then seduced by the ads into buying a camera phone with polyphonic ringtones. Loads of features, but I didn't really use them and the phone (although a leader in its class) felt plasticky and cheap. And it didn't have bluetooth.

    So I bought a Nokia 8910i.

This phone is unsurpasses in terms of looks and sheer style and class. It is *so* elegant and really makes heads turn when I use it. The phone has all the feautures I need but none of the gimmicks. Th ...

This Nokia 8910i mobile phone is in a league of its own beautiful craftsmanship, elegent and functional, i've had the phone for about 3 months now and have paid about $1100.00 Australian for it and dont regret one penny of it..

if you can afford the money and want a phone of unsurpassed quality then you cannot go past the 8910i.

I had a 6610 prior to this and while a good phone, they've gone overboard with features on the new phones realisticly people NEVER use all these features, Nokia h ...

I bought this phone a few days ago after having read quite many different reviews. I think everyone speaks depending on their needs and not on what they phone has to offer.
You dont buy this phone if you are a fun phone person, if you like taking pictures and using your phone for whole diffrent things besides making calls!!!!
This phone gives you everything you need to communicate with one another, no crazy features, it supports mms, bluetooth, java games and software, it has 4 lines for text ...

I was orignially interested in an 8910 when my 8210 started to pack up, but when the 8910i was announced I decided to hang on until it was available in the UK off-contract.

Exactly one week ago I purchased an 8910i AND a Sony Ericsson T610, both off-contract, with the agreement that I could take whichever phone I didn't like back after 14 days (thanks, Phones4u). I chose the 8910i purely for it's styling, but I also chose the T610 for it's built-in POP3 e-mail client and iSync compatibility w ...

Forget all of the "it's too expensive for what it is" talk, you buy something like this for the prestige. Example : I own an Omega Seamaster. It cost me 1200 pounds. I also own a Swatch, which cost me about 30. Both tell the time and the date, and that's it. But the Omega was worth every penny, simply because it's an exclusive item. And speaking as someone who has owned the best phone of the moment ever since the motorola v3 series, I can confidently say that the 8910i is the best of them all. Y ...

I've had this phone for about a month now and it is by far the best phone I've ever had.

The only problem is that on the dark or in low light areas, you can't see the keypad. I.e. there is no backlight. Also, it is not possible to answer the phone without opening the shell(not such a problem)

The Nokia Suite that you get with this also needs a serial cable, but if using Bluetooth, you MUST buy a socket Bluetooth adaptor for your PC/Laptop.

Without doubt this phone was worth every penny and for heaven sake will you quit griping about the cost, if you haven't learned the old trick of buying the phone on the expensive tarif to get a cheap phone and then lower your tarif a week later then you deserve to get robbed on the price of the handset. My 8910i cost me less than £50 including delivery which means for the retail price I can have the phone, bluetooth headset and car kit.

Overall i'll start by saying i really like this phone... Ive had a Nokia7110 for 3 years and felt it was finally time to get into something new, id never seen or held the Nokia8910i till it was delivered to me, so it was a bit of a punt.

Ive had it for 2 weeks now, and am very satisfied bar a few quirks which i will discuss.

Firstly, when someone is calling, there is no way to hang up or reject the call... you either have to let it ring or answer it... this is a bit annoying. The keys not ...

I'm a SE P800 user and still is. Bought 8910i as a spare phone. Being the latest and most expensive phone for the 8 series it doesn't have polyphonic which is now in every new phone. Unbelievable! The one real bad thing is you can't bloody see the alphabets/numbers in the dark not like the 8850. I have plans of selling it soon. Anybody interested? Drop me a mail at jsiah@pacificpalm.com.ph

I bought the phone a couple of days ago, and it has to be one of my best buys. Although it's expensive (I paid £300 on contract), it does everything that I'd want a phone to do.

The only real grumble that I have is the issue with they keypad's numbers not being lit, which makes using the phone in the dark a bit of a pain.

But hey, its a small thing, and for the best phone on the market in terms of looks a features (of should I say features that you'll actually use, not gimmicks like ...

I got this phone only a few days ago and it is absolutely amazing. I love the vast amount of features however, I was expectign a slightly larger screen and polyphonic ringtones. However, despite this, it is still, in my opinion, teh nicest phone on the market.

I wasnt very much impressed, the screen is good but the features are not what you would ask for. It is pretty expensive when announced £700 - £900 lucky enough i managed to pick mine up for £200 a great phone if you can afford it.
