Good Points: Can't think of any.
Bad Points: They appear to have lost my camera. Have been without a camera for 3 months. Have received no communication.
General comments: I sent my camera in to Jessops for a repair, I received it back with a new problem and handed it back in and 3 months later I've now been told they have lost my camera!

On Xmas eve I decided to look for a Canon Powershot A 710is in the sales. I located one on Jessop's website for £199.99 PLUS if you put a discount code in it was reduced by a further £20!!
Great Joy, top price! Unfortunately it wouldn't work, so I emailed them. Immediately after Xmas I got a reply saying they had tested the code and it didn't work on this item, so I was to ring telesales and they would sort it.
This I did. The man who took my call did his best but was unable to get ...

I ordered a Sony digital camera on promotion with free 'standard' delivery and was most impressed to receive it less than 18 hours later, well packed and at a very good price.
On a previous occasion I ordered an incorrect filter and received prompt emails explaining the returns procedure. The refund was processed on the day of receipt and my account credited immediately.

It's worth noting that people only ever review a company when there are problems. Though Jessops isn't as big as Amazon, they're still pretty big and well distributed around the country. At the time of writing there are *only two* comments on this company compared to Pixmania (189 review, avg score 1.2) and only one of the two reviews is bad! I'd say judge the lack of info here as testament to Jessops. (Oh, and I have nothing to do with the company.)

I was buying my partner a digital camcorder (JVC GR D290) for a Christmas present and was advised to buy from Jessops, even tough their prices were higher than many online suppliers. I placed my order on the website at the end of November, with the item clearly in stock, and I received an email to confirm my order. By the 2nd week in December, I sent an email to ask where my purchase was... No reply... I sent a second email, and I received an email 3 days later saying they would look into it... ...

I wanted to buy a digital camera and went to Jessops because they specialize in cameras etc. Been here before from a compare prices site. Found a suitable camera cheap but £30 cheaper than anywhere else. Good description of what it id, even for me. No P$P and online order took no less than a couple of minutes to process.
