    Sendit.com provide an appalling service - ordered the Annie Lennox CD on 22 November 2009. Not only did the website not explain that the item was not in stock, but let me order it anyway, but I then got conflicting advice via email and phone about whether it had been despatched, when it would arrive etc. Today an operator told me it would be despatched, and I've just had an email saying it has not been despatched and they don't know when it will be because it's still not in stock. I'm absolutely disgusted by the service - they clearly don't hold things in stock and are not honest enough to say so or to explain how long things will really take to come. I've tried to cancel the order but no doubt that will go wrong too. They have a lot to learn about customer service. Don't buy from them, they're cowboys. I've given them one star for each category but didn't want to give them any at all.

    After 2 weeks of my item from sendit.com not arriving I emailed them to ask where my item was and was told that it had been dispatched that morning with no explanation as to why they were so late in posting it. I waited patiently for another 2 weeks only to have still not received my order! I contacted them again and was answered a few days later with a message asking for me to allow another 7 days for the item to arrive.     I ordered a DVD boxset from them which never arrived. I'd stipulated separate billing and delivery addresses and neither package nor bill arrived at their respective addresses, despite Sendit claiming it had been dispatched.

    When challenged to provide a tracking code so I could find my package, they ignored that request and instead offered a refund if I'd sign a declaration form they'd send out. The form never arrived.

    This website, which provides for a number of outlets including sendit.com, has twice sent me an allegedly "new" item with the shrink wrapping missing and containing damaged discs. I had them replaced a process that took several weeks. Unfortunately they returned another box set without shrink wrapping. I will not ever again use them.

    I placed an order with Send-it.com because the DVD's that I wanted for my nephews birthday were shown as being in stock. It said the items would be despatched within 4 working days. Great!2 weeks after I'd placed the order I received an email telling me that they were chasing my order up with their supplier.     Sendit is one of those 'despatched in 24 hours' but actually mean 'not in stock, we'll try and buy it somewhere and sendit to you later' outfits.

    DO NOT USE SENDIT.COM.

    I ordered a laptop at the cost of £390. It has been nearly two months and I have not received my item. I requested a refund nearly 1 month ago and they have still not refunded my account. They clearly do not have the items they offer on their website in stock. The customer service agents are rude and I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

    Advertising items at great prices and then, long after I placed my order, telling me it's not in stock. What a terrible way to run a business. Sendit let me think I could order items at really great prices. Then they sat on my order for 5 days before I got a perfunctory email telling me they didn't have what I wanted and can't get it either. I will never use them again and will stick to sites that I feel run themselves professionally.

    I placed an order with Sendit for 4 series of a TC show. They sent me one copy each of series 1 through 3 together with a second copy of series 1 - so no series 4. The procedure for sending the extra series 1 DVD's back was efficient - except I did not then receive either my copy of series 4 or a refund. At that point I stopped receiving a reply to my emails. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

    The Hut.com run and have the stock for LoveFilm, Asda Entertainment, Currys/PC World/Dixons Entertainment and now, sadly Sendit.com. The website re-design is when everything I knew and loved about Sendit.com left.

    I am speaking from the unfortunate experience of ordering from The Hut.com, and lovefilm.com/shop and now Sendit.com. Items that I've ordered have never or very rarely been in stock. They seem to order them when you order them, which I suspect is a nice way to make them a hefty profit ...

    If you can't guess from points above about Sendit.com, I searched and searched for a DVD - found what I thought was an excellent bargain on their site. Placed the order 10 days ago, only to get (in my opinion) a non-apologetic - almost rude email:We are sorry to advise that your order is no longer available at our suppliers.     I have been a faithful Blackstar/sendit.com buyer for years, but now I am off the idea. Ever since their re-launch I have found them to be nothing but trouble. I think the level of service is disappointing. First, they completely wiped all of my past information (Hitlists, past orders etc) and apparently expected me to just get on with it.     Ordered expensive large dvd boxsets from Sendit which arrived in paper jiffy bags, smashed and broken. When emailed to ask if they could send replacements in card boxes was told their paper bags are good enough. Surely they are not good enough in this instance? So emailed and phoned to arrange to return these items.     I used to love Sendit.com. I was even one of their early blackstar customers in the good old days. Over the past two years I feel the service levels have dropped well below average. I've pre-ordered items at one price and they then knock the price down for new orders. They've claimed they've dispatched my order and when I finally receive it, the post mark tells the truth.

    I ordered some items that were displayed as being in stock, a few days later they are saying they are out of stock. I has to log into their site to find this out, no email, nothing. Very disappointing.

    I have used Sendit.com previously without problem - but if you do have a problem, don't expect them to answer your e mails. After four e-mails over the period of a week, I decided that I needed to contact them in the old fashioned way and give them a call. The guy that answered was very polite and adopted the 'no problem' approach, I was told that I would be sent a replacement.     Tried to order the Xbox 360 from Sendit.com and had problems one after another. First they ask me to send some evidence i.e. a statement via Fax or a scanned image. I don't have a Fax machine and I sure don't want a scanner.. So I take a screenshot of my online banking account and then they try to tell me that the payment was unsucessful, when I know for a fact that I put money into my account to purposely buy the Xbox 360! A waste of time!

    I have ordered twice with sendit.com. No problem at all. There are a lot of bargains, delivery rates are not high, delivery on time, and from Ireland to Russia it took 11 and 12 days for delivering two parcels. Unlike other Internet shops, it offers to deliver items to Russia, and moreover, delivery rates are almost equal for all countries - Australia and France etc., and there is no rate 'per shipment' like with Amazon. Delivery rates to Russia are equal to delivery rates for Austria, Belgium, ...

    I found this site through find dvd.uk and although not the cheapest I found their customer service/response to emails excellant. I ordered a dvd on a wednesday and received it on the saturday whilst being kept up to date through my order status. Blackstar also send confirmation emails when taking money and when item is despatched. Have tried other sites which are cheaper (Splash) but service not that good there so anyone looking for quality service try these you won't be dissapointed.
