Good Points: It has some of the best ballads Michael has ever done, some of the dance tracks may appeal to the youth of today.
Bad Points: The songs that are written are quit good but not for him because he didn't write most of the stuff.
It misses real classics like his last album HIStory, songs like 'You Are Not Alone', 'Earthsong', 'They Don't Care About Us' - those where the real classics. Note to Michael - Next time don't try to be hip be yourself and write your own songs.
General comments: When I first bought Michael Jackson, Invincible I thought it was gonna be songs like 'You Rock My World' I guess I was wrong, the rest of the songs aren't like it at all, the album was produced by urban wizzard Rodney Jerkins but instead we've got a ballad album.
There is unbreakable that has an urban touch, there are funky dance tracks like 2000 watts (yeah thats realy Michael singing) and heartbreaker , and there are many ballads like don't walk away, speechless, lost children, and there is a latin style song whatever happens.
Conclusion: There are many style's of songs on this album, too bad they are badly mixed. I think you should just lay back and listen although this isn't his best album, its sure worth buying.
After he got cleared of molestation he can do fine music again and I think its gonna be the most personal up to date (like HIStory did) because many mis-understood michael but his best way of explaining himself is by writing his songs.
Peace, Jeffrey.
