    Good Points: Cheap
    Bagless
    Fairly Quiet


    Bad Points: Poor suction
    Heavy
    Poor filtration
    Expensive to repair
    Poor reliability


    General comments: The suction is poor considering it's 1500W rating. Power rating is NOT always a good indication of actual suction power.
    Edge-to-edge cleaning is poor and suction is concentrated towards the left hand side.
    The storage of the extension pipe is such that the pipe comes loose during normal use and reduces suction even more.
    My SCX100 lasted barely 12 months before the motor failed. This was daily use on light carpet in three rooms. A new motor was going to cost the same as a new vacuum cleaner and so it wasn't worth repairing. Having looked inside at the motor, the motor is actually very small.
    Not recommended.

    Because the Sanyo SCX100 vacuum cleaner is bagless and has filters that can be removable and cleaned, you can keep the vacuum like brand new and smelling fresh all the time.
    This is great if you are a dog owner because the smell of dog seems to stay in your vacuum cleaner.
