Abebooks operates a website that allows booksellers worldwide to offer rare, collectible, and out of print books to customers at very competitive prices. Abebooks guarantees their service by offering a full refund on books that are found to be unsatisfactory. I buy and sell books on Abebooks and find their service to be the best experience in on line book marketing. If you do have a bad experience with a book seller on Abebooks rest assured that you will have your concerns resolved.

Only one minor point. If you buy a book through Abebooks and opt for Paypal payment the website does not automatically deduct your payment from your Paypal account. The bookseller will contact you to arrange payment.

Abebooks offers the widest range of rare, collectible, and out of print books available. Take your time when buying and read the individual sellers star ratings and listing details. The best sellers offer more detailed descriptions and these sellers will tend to offer the best service.

Bought a book and never received it form Abebooks www.abebooks.co.uk. It seems hard to get a refund from abebooks, I have been waiting for a month now...UK online stores suck!

the book was not in the condition which it was described in the outline (before i bought it)

I'm not very pleased. The review should have stated that the pages may not be in the correct order.

I'm getting fed up with the number of times I've ordered a book from them, only to get an email a few days later telling me that the seller has cancelled the sale.

It appears that Abebooks are using out-of-date stock lists.

I would only use them again for a price reference.

Firstly, the name of this website is AbeBooks, not AdeBooks. Secondly, yes indeed the site functions as a routing agency, holding the online stock lists of book dealers and bookshops more or less worldwide, and allowing customers to locate items, compare prices, and transmit orders plus shipping requirements to the supplier that you select, together with your credit card details so that the supplier can mail the books you ask for and debit your credit card account for total costs incurred. It's ...

This is a warning for anyone intending to order books with Adebooks. Adebooks, unlike online bookshops such as Amazon, is an AGENT. It acts as an agent for a vast number of smaller booksellers, and accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for orders. In my case, I ordered some books from a UK company called APLEX BOOKS via Adebooks. When Aplex Books sent only part of my order and failed to send two books that I had paid for, I emailed Adebooks for advice. I received a formal reply telling me that the contract ...

Adebooks.co.uk is the new UK branch of the enormously useful adebooks.com website which I for one think is one of the very best websites on the net!

How often have you gone looking for a book only to find that it is out of print or seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet? Places like the auction site ebay.com are good in some respects for finding books like these and Amazon.com has a section for out of print books as well but adebooks.com is the undisputed king of the used books ...
