Good Points: Refreshing even for the most ardent fans. This is where Dylan's originality comes close to genius.
Unlike modern times this is where Bob has a rapport with his audience.
This collecction is the heart and soul of the man.
Bad Points: Can't think of any.
General comments: With restrictions imposed on Bob Dylan as to how many tracks he could record in a year The Bootleg Series is the safety relief that lets his full creativity flow.
This isn't just songs of one man - it is a voice of the times. Fresh visions of youth and emotion captured like a perfect creature preserved in amber.
