    Good Points: None.

Bad Points: Bad service, terrible internet banking.

General comments: I am a long-time IF customer. Initially they were quite good but today they are one of the worst banks I have ever experienced. Their internet banking website doesn't seem to have been updated in nearly five years and is a complete pain to use. When Halifax took over IF they changed their credit terms. Customers were meant to receive a new credit agreement to sign and return. I never received mine, nor was I notified about the change, and as a result they froze my credit card. This also happened to a friend of mine also using their "service".Making payments on your card is horrendous. Last time I made a payment it had to be done through WorldPay. What kind of bank can't even incorporate debit card payments into their own internet banking? There's also no option to make payments directly from your IF current account.Warning, do not ever use IF. They have gone from a fairly good bank to one of the worst imaginable!

Basically the Intelligent Finance site doesn't work.

I work in IT, so it's not that I don't know how to use it. Every other online banking site I have ever used -- NatWest, HSBC and Egg are much more reliable and easier to use.

The IF credit card has a good APR and good Introductory 0% balance transfer and purchases. I paid my card off in full each month, but by mistake I missed one payment date, and they dropped my credit limit by about half. I thought this was harsh, as I had paid all my other months off in full. They could have sent me a reminder and not dropped the credit limit!!

Based on personal experience. I took out a one account with IF and an IF Credit Card. Without reason or warning the bank froze my savings for alegedly missing one payment, then sent my account straight to debt collectors without any opportunity to pay off the ammount - then charged me £1000 for sending the account to deby collectors. I would avoid IF like the plague.
