    Good Points: It was black...


    Bad Points: Looks, handling.


    General comments: The Citroen BX GTi 16V was a funny car. I had it while my Rover 216 was having a new head fitted from a CRX. I drive into this petrol station near where I used to go to school, see one of my high school sweethearts, open the door, and it falls off onto the forecourt! Sums this car up..

    1987 to 1993
    Lightweight 5 door hatchback, with 160hp, hyropneumatic suspension, ABS and 30mpg.
    60 mph in 7.5 seconds and 134 mph top speed.

    Great drivers car but rather noisy on long motorway journeys.
    Usual medium hatchback practicality and its lack of boy racer image means it doesn't get attention from thieves or the police.
