Noisy and too long a time for start up and shut down. What a FANTASTIC picture though. Would recomend Sony VPL-HS1 although fan noise can be irritating . only recognizes sony format pics. on the memory stick (read more)

I have had one of these Sony VPL-HS1 projectors for two years now and am very pleased with it. I project onto a 8' electric screen. This is the maximum recommended screen size and gives just acceptable resolution. The side shot feature make the unit really flexible in terms of room location. Set up is easy. For sound you do really need external speakers and an amp. (read more)
