Good Points: acethetically , nice shape, good curves Excellent coulour reproduction Sharp as they come, in picture quality terms Great for smaller rooms and thus a smallder dimetion on the set the whole way round
Bad Points: not 100 hrz, but does that matter ? hmm this sony like others displays slight horizontal gaps between lines, Its a shame sony dont look at panasonic & Phillips sets, Look closely when watching a dvd and you'll see em. This is not techinically a 16/9 ratio, its 15:9 (however it didn't seem to bother me Just like every other set, the supervideo socket is on the front, but why ????
General comments: Not a bad alittle sony here overall I was impressed at the start. I don't care about its average sound quality, which seems to be the same as my other set which is a panasonic. If we want to apprciate widescreen, we proberbly want to appriciate all aspects of home cinema. Sony, do yourself a favour and irradicate speakers from your sets. The ascethetics of the set are better than most others , besides phillips in my opnion. Its got a great picture, but horizontal lines need to be blended like phillips's and panasonics, But this might be the cost for thier expetional picture quality and colour. The picture is solid, vibrant and sharp. I suppose thats all one really wants, but others (like me are picky).
