Good Points: I have had flip Motorola's for 15 years with no problems whatsoever. The flip prevents mis-dials and keep dust etc from the keys. It won't call 999 like some phones while they jiggle about in your trouser pocket.

Bad Points: I have no use for a camera on a phone, but I have tried the one on the 525 and it is pretty useless, but hey, if I want a camera, I'll buy a camera.
Yes, I'm changing phones. I just can't resist the looks of the Razor V3i which of course is a Motorola. Most other phones look boring.

General comments: Despite some reports that Motorola's can be troublesome, I have had no bother with my Motorola V525 . I think that its the finger trouble when people who open and close the flip in a nervous fashion instead of using a worry egg, and those who like to dramatically snap them closed who create problems. If you are a fiddler, who can't keep your hands still for more than a minute, then a flip phone is not for you. Try snapping your spectacle case open and shut when your nervous, it'll be less expensive than taking it out on your mobile and blaming Motorola.

The Motorola V525 has a good speakerphone and the Stuntman and monopoly games are good. It also has bluetooth but the camera is rubbish and it takes fuzzy images. Buy if you're looking for a basic mobile phone, but it is not for you if you are a wealthy business guy who shows off his phone at a business meeting.

The Motorola V525 is a much better mobile phone than the current V360 I have. It's simple to use, has lots of easy to access functions, you can programme your own soft keys how you want them, and there is lots of photo memory.

The only real faults seem to be that the screen in photo mode goes blurry after a while, and the poor battery life, which lasts about two days with normal usage. Saying that, my wife now uses it and says it's the best phone she's used, and then there's me stuck with my ...

On the first day I got the Motorola V525, I charged it up as I should, and during my first call it completely died. Thus began my constant battle with Motorola. They replaced the phone. The second V525 had exactly the same faults- switching itself off, just showing a blank white screen, dying in the middle of a text on a full battery. I eventually got a THIRD phone- same thing. I have lost count of how many times I have sent this phone off to repair. Despicable. I would urge people not on ...

At first I thought the Motorola V525 was a great phone but then the camera went blurry, I found how chunky and heavy it was and the battery life is poor (I tend to have to charge it every 2 days) sometimes when picking a ringtone it won't end unless you take the battery out and it switches off on its own. It scratches with the slightest knock and I am experiencing that I cant hear anybody when I phone them or they phone me without putting the hands free in or putting it on loud speaker. Atfer I ...

Having been a Nokia user most of my life I thought I'd try something different, and went with the Motorola. Having never owned a camera phone before this was ideal at first, till I realised how poor the picture quality was most of the the time, how poor the battery life was (2 days max) and how this phone has an odd habit of deciding to shut down on its own accord and turn the screen to white for no apparent reason!! I'm also not fond of the little side buttons that, if you happen to knock them ...

In summary, the V525 was a poor choice. Having always had Nokia phones, I made the decision to diversify and regretted it from day one. Despite complaining to the mobile phone provider, I have had no joy in resolving the problems. With 5 months of my contract left, I have had no choice but to source another phone - back to Nokia!!! Will never buy/recommend Motorola.

I've had my Motorola V525 for just under a year now. It's the first Motorola phone that I have owned and I won't say it's the last. Having said that, I get bored very easily with phones. The only reason that I have kept this phone for so long is because I was on a 12 month contract with Vodafone and I couldn't get an upgrade. I have just ordered a Samsung E800 that should be coming tomorrow, so I will be able to see what the camera quality is like on that phone as my Motorola was the first camer ...

I got the phone for my birthday and at 1st it was hard to use but a few days after I knew how to do everything. In my opinion It's the best phone you can get! Highly recommended.

I got the Motorola V525 the day it came out which was my birthday. I like the phone itself but it does keep switching itself off for no reason. Also when it's in my bag it's easy to knock the side buttons and alter the ring volume. I also accidentally push the right side button when I pick the phone up which is annoying. I've just changed to a Nokia 6600 so I will give the v525 to my daughter as it's only a year old. I wouldn't buy another phone with the same design now.

I had a Motorola V525 for chistmas a year ago now, since then I have had a few problems with it such as the camera quality is nowhere near as good as it used to be even though I clean it very often. The bluetooth tech. is very good. I have recently bought a data cable for it but it doesn't work for some reason! Another terrible thing about this phone is the battery life, if you play on a game for a minute the battery just goes!

The V525 is the second Motorola phone I've owned. I've owned one really old Motorola, a Sagem MYV-65 and now I've changed to a Motorola again! I really like Vodafone live! The tones are great and it is really stylish! I don't know why some people think Vodafone is exspensive because it just isn't! It's basically the same as O2. Well, that's my opinion. I love my phone. I love my network and that's it!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first Motorola phone I have bought. I am pleased with the games and photo space hovever I have some trouble when I take photos they save very small and don't fill the screen. There is no info in the manual to resolve this.

The Motorola V525's features are: quad-band, polyphonic monophonic and real tones are all supported, picture id, phone book holds 1000 names on the phone and also memory of the sim card (picture id can only be used on the names stored on the phone), good quality camera, smaller than the Sharp GX-10i and other phone like the GX-10i but it is not as light as the gx-10i or brands like it. The battery life is not to good and the camera gets dirty easily (as it is sunk into the phone) overall this p ...

The V525 is my second Motorola phone in years. My first phone was actually a Motorola Star-Tac, but when gsm came out, I became a Nokia fan. After buying the Motorola V525, I am now a Motorola fan again!
This phone has almost everything better than the competition. The closest phone to the Motorola v525 is the Panasonic x70. Unfortunately, the Panasonic is unable to play java games which gives Motorola a bit of an edge.
I just bought this phone 2 days ago and I can say it is the best phone I h ...

When I first got my Motorola V525, it was a little bit of a shock on account of the size and weight. I previously had a T68i and that was incredibly light, and only a little bigger than the V525 when it was closed. But anyone who will have had to T68i knows how pathetic it was as a colour screen phone.
Now with the v525 for the first time I could take and recieve photos, and they were amazing!!! The screen qulity was amazing, although it goes faint in the sun. (Not that there's too much sun ...

As a dedicated Nokia user the Motorola V525 was a gamble for me. I needn't have worried - it has fulfilled all my hopes. It has an excellent range of features including Bluetooth capability. The clam shell design fits neatly into a pocket or handbag. The 4x zoom camera produces good quality pics. I have read other reviews referring to poor battery life on this model. At the point of sale the salesman was adamant that the phone should be charged for at least 16 hours to 'boost' the battery. ...

I've had a Motorola V525 for 3 months now and I'm happy with it. I've found the manual very hard to use and have had to find things out myself. Also there is nothing to tell you how to use the bluetooth, still haven't worked it out. The battery is ok as long as you do not play many games. I think that for the price I paid (£200) that this phone could be made better by adding a better camera as many cheaper phones have this ability.

This is the first Motorola phone I've ever owned, having been the very pleased previous owner of 4 different Nokias. I reckoned that it was going to take a very cool phone to make me switch my loyalties away from Nokia, and to give credit to the V525, it's fairly cool.

The predictive text (ITAP) is great. It's intelligent, meaning that it learns the words you use most frequently and offers them as options first.

The camera works well, even in low-light conditions and the digital zoom turn ...

This Motorola V525 is the second Motorola mobile phone i've owned and compared to my time port Motorola have hugely improved there build quality and handset features

I'm a bit of a gadget freak and tend to change my phone every 6 months.

The Motorola V525 is incredibly easy to use the menu is similar to the sharp GX10 and 20, it's also terific value for money includes features like Bluetooth, the integrated camera which isn't as high quality as the sharp GX20, java games, quad band where ...
