    I have had one of these Philips HP6453 Satin Ice Optima Epilator for about two years now. yes it hurts but only the first time you use it. for your bikini line if you are using it for the first time use the ice pack. i did change my epilator at the beginning of the year to an expressive but i went back to this one as it grabs the smallest of hairs, i have lovely feeling legs for weeks on end now and dont have to worry about shaving my legs any more. word of warning though if you do decide to give them a quick shave it will hurt to epilate your legs again. if anything goes wrong with this one i will definitely go out and but the same model again.

    Excellent product - pain lessens with each use and hair grows back thinner and weaker. I now only need to use it about once a month - if that!

    The best epilator I have used, it hurts but not as much as the other epilators and I found it did the job perfectly.

    Philips HP6453 Satin Ice Optima Epilator is a very good device. Having used it for bikini and legs the results are amazing!! Forget about shaving, leave that behind forever, the philips is such a good product you will never go back again.

    OK, the pain is significant at first but the results are worth it. Just think, each time you use it the pain get less and the results get better - why would anyone ever want to shave/cream ever again?

    Highly recommended!

    Philips HP6453 Satin Ice Optima Epilator is easy to use and hairs are pulled from the roots. You can use it everywhere, underarms, bikini (that really hurts) legs and arms. My hairs used to be dark, thick and I'd have to shave everyday. From the first two times I used the epilator they grew back slower and lighter and less thick, now you can hardly notice when I haven't epilated! Also there are other attachments which you can use like the exfoliating tool. How cool is that?
