The Seat Toledo 1.9 TDi SE is a lovely car, looks good even 6 years on, drives great, powerful, comfortable, and lots of gadgest. Economy is superb! Bad points are rear door seals leak into footwell (common fault but easily fixed at no or little cost). Interior trim getting tired but holding together very well. This is a great car! Have decided to keep it for a few years more despite newer sexier looking Seat's around...

Ive owned 2 toledos the 130bhp and 150bhp, must amit there isnt alot of difference in speed and acceleration, i would personally go for the 130bhp because it has slighty better mpg and the white dials look better, Not much wrong with the car except some rare times i get a bit of turbo lag when shifting fast but apart from that the car is perfect.I will keep this car until it ceases to moves.- Read Guest's review (103 words)

Really nice car, I have previously owned Audi's and VW's and recently bought a used 2001 Toledo tdi110 Se with 77k on it, there's no rattles from anywhere, everything works and bar it not having a six speed box, auto wipers or a dimming rear view mirror I've been used to it's got everything I need and expect. The 110 is a bit wheezy but it depends on what you're used to, the 130 is much better but costs much more, I get an average of 50+mpg and do a fair mix of driving, seats are a bit dull in s ...- Read Guest's review (153 words)

Bought my Seat Toledo 1.9 TDi SE 2nd hand in March 2004 with 11,000 on clock. It was registered March 2003 and is still (April 2005) immaculate. I have done 12,000 mainly city miles and the computer tells me that I have averaged 47 miles per gallon and I get 540 miles from one tank (@£40). I have previously owned loads of different Peugot and Citroen diesels, (205, 309, 405, Zsara, Xantia, etc) but the Seat Toledo TDi SE losses all of them in style, specifications, performance and comfort. ...- Read graemewilliams's review (268 words)

I checked before buying that this Seat Toledo 1.9 TDi SE family car had a full sevice history. There were no scuffs to the alloy wheels - a sign that the last owner had treated it with care. The details of all work, like brakes and belts was all there in the handbook. This car had a better life as a fleet car than any private owner would have give it. A really great car with a VW pedigree. 55 to the gallon of diesel means that this car really pays for itself in 2 years on second hand prices.- Read GarryF's review (135 words and 1 comment)

Bought the Seat Toledo 1.9 TDi SE in Mar 02 when it was six months old. I travel approx 28K miles per year, and the car is approaching 56K miles.
Silver in colour - looks good.
Economy has been truly excellent. My daily commute consists of cross-country and motorway miles - approx 140 miles round trip. Fuel economy typically 49-52 mpg. On a slow A-road journey, economy approaches 60 mpg.
Mid-range performance is good (typical of diesel engined cars) and is what you need in real worl ...- Read Corke's review (270 words)

My Seat Toledo TDiSE which I bought towards the end of 1999, still is one of the best looking cars on the road. It has a lovely leather steering wheel.
By far the best car I have ever driven. Highly recommended.- Read cattleman62's review (111 words)
