Good Points: Same shot count as Crosman

Bad Points: More expensive then Crosman where I am Top of cartridge has rough edges

General comments: I accidentally bought 10 Brass eagle cartridges awhile back, I had gone to a different gun shop, not my usual and while I was there I decided to stock up. They cost a pound more then 10 Crosmans cost me from my regular gun shop and when I examined them they had rough edges where they contact with the seal, I've been told the seals in CO2 pistols are one of the most likely parts to give problems so the roughness worried me a bit. I used up all the cartridges anyway and they gave roughly the same number of shots as the Crosman cartridges and despite their cheap appearance they seemed to contain a small amount of oil. I will not be using them again, in fact I intend to completely avoid them and I if offered them I will not take them.

I had some co2 powerlets Brass Eagle half a year ago. They were not cheap in NZ. A Crosman co2 powerlet costs $1.5 NZ. A co2 powerlets Brass Eagle costs $1.8 NZ. I had been using these two brand gas bottles on my Umarex bretta92 pistol. I found that, I could get almost 70 shots with Brass eagle and 48 shots with Crosman on the Bretta 92 pistol. That is all my personal experience on the products.

crosman perfoms well in cold weather brass eagle pretty good in the 357 but not so good in the air auto II and PPK/S. You cant beat the price for amount of co2 you get in the box, I got a box of 15 for under 10 dollars canadian, now if these brass eagles do well in the summer time they will be my number one choice for summer and crosman will be my winter co2 as a note my wife gets almost 200 shots in her 357 from the crosman co2 for winter use, she also rapid fires a lot too and she does well wi ...

BB, I have a Crossman 1077 rifle that works fine with 12 gram co2 powerlets, however when I purchased the airsource adaptor and hooked it up the gas leaks slowly from the magazine well.
