    Good Points: Comfort
    Toys

    Bad Points: Unreliable
    Expensive to replace parts
Value of your vehicle will depreciate quickly

General comments: Within two years of owning the Saab 9-5 Saloon 3.0t V6, I have had to replace the turbo, traction control pump, and bushes on a regular basis. The torque produced may cause twisting of the chassis and on board computer read out, has been replaced 3 times.

The Saab 9-5 Saloon 3.0t V6 is spacious, safe and comfortable over long distances. Softer riding than an equivalent BMW or Mercedes, but this suits the smooth engine delivery. Very torquey so driving around at no more than 2500 revs is usual.

Economical out of town- 33 mpg on a long run is not out of the question.
Rare Griffin variants are the ones to go for; air conditioned seats, electric sunroof, 9 speaker Harmon Kardon stereo all add to the luxury.
