Apple Final Cut Pro takes sometime to get use to the layout, it takes very long to finalise even with a 4Ghz processor, and 4 gb RAM. The the end product looks great. Overall very good you just have to be patient.

Apple Final Cut Pro has to be the industry benchmark for semi-pro and pro editing software. Everything you need in one package.
Apparantly the movie Cold Mountain with Nicole Kidman was shot on digital and edited using Final Cut software.
Be warned the price though. Remember it is aimed at Professional companies and University Colleges who can afford a copy or two. Not for the humble family Spielberg.
Final Cut Express 2 is a cheaper alternative with less features but the features are ...
