I wouldn't have naturally chosen to buy these clubs but I accepted a recommendation form Nevada Bob's and haven't looked back. These irons and a great Hogan gap wedge have accompanied me on the journey from 28 to 12 HC in the two years I have had them. I am changing to Hogan blades now, but have been been very happy with these. Great feel and forgiving for the price

Im glad i read the reviews on here! They helped me make a great decision. I decided to buy the Ben Hogan Edge CFT irons and its the best, golfing decision I have made. I have found these clubs very smooth to hit, forgiving and comfortable. Great clubs that have helped me improve in a short space of time

Ben Hogan Edge CFT - I was looking for a forgiving set of irons with a soft feel, looks like a blade iron at address. A very good set of irons for your money.

This is a cut and paste of what I just emailed to Ben Hogan.

My name is Phil and I live in Littleton Colorado. I just wanted to write and tell you how unbelievably happy I am with my new Ben Hogan Apex CFTh irons. I have been playing with a set of Ben Hogan director (blades) which have been around two years longer than I have been alive and I have never been able to play these irons well at all. As everyone has said, those clubs were too advanced for me. I was to the point that I had given up ...

Ben Hogan Edge CFT - Always liked look of Hogans being left handed took a while to find a set. They were very forgiving but I found they were two clubs shorter distance-wise. Perhaps the shaft didn't suit. Overall nice clubs but not for me Changed to TM RAC much better although more expensive.

I bought a Ben Hogan Edge CFT set second hand for £225, which were still in great condition. They have a forged titanium face which is supposed to increase forgivness, which it does. These clubs have to be one of the most forgiving irons ever made. Don't expect the titanium face to increase your distance though. Although the distance is good, these clubs are aimed at forgivness and ease of use. Remeber titanium is a metal which scuffs and dents easily (which is why drivers have headco ...
