“I bought this Daewoo 3500P dvd/vcr combi for the kids...”

I bought this Daewoo 3500P dvd/vcr combi for the kids to have in their playroom. was excellent value for money. Have had no problems with it and was able to change to multi region player with hack from dvdreviewer.com .
Playback quality good. Only critiscm is that vcr takes couple of seconds for the tracking to get on line, but is fine after that....

My mother had 3 off these Daewoo 3500P dvd/vcr players it only plays the disc for 10 min and stops ,and the drive spins to fast and the disc falls off the tray inside resulting in turning the play upside down to get it back ,the eject button you have to really keep pressing it to get the tray open ,the vcr is very slow at rew/ffw,its in mono sound only,very bad menu system ,it should be took off the market ,do not buy!...

I strongly urge any one interested in purchasing the Daewoo VCR/DVD combo to avoid it like the plague. I purchased the item to go into the playroom for my children in September 2005 and it has stopped working (15 Jan 2005) - it keeps saying 'bad disc' even to disc that it had previously played. The eject button doesn't work because it's too busy 'loading disc' and that takes forever.
This item should be recalled and never sold again.
