Good Points: Excellent check in, the quickest we have ever experienced. Attentive staff, although we have experienced better. Spacious accomodation but then it should be for a suite!
Bad Points: International dining room was acceptable, although the pastry chefs concoctions left a great deal to be desired. Someone needs to teach him how to do a proper Pavlova! The horizon buffet was boring, unappetising, poorly presented and repetitious. Th cold meat selection for lunch was very limited and rarely had anything other than Salami, ham and turkey. Breakfast was similarly limited, melon every day was the fruit selection. Curiously they served proper fruit juice in the main dining room but only a sweet and sickly cordial in the buffet. Ice cream was charged, except for one hour every day from 3-4pm Entertainment, apart from the ships company, was geriatric. At least three acts were over 70! It got better through the voyage but never to the standard of other cruises.
General comments: We were recommended to try Princess as being a step up from our normal cruise line, Celebrity. Well it wasn't, we will return to Celebrity in future.
