Good Points: Easy start. Not as noisy as I had imagined. Uses very little oil. Not a problem yet. This is the 6300 watt electric start.
Bad Points: Manual is unclear under several important points especially amount of oil that you add after changing it. Cold be more specific on many points. Sears Generator help line was great on answering my questions.
General comments: The Briggs & Stratton Power Products Model 1654 5500 Watt Portable Generator was purchased as a back up power supply for the forthcoming Hurricane season. It has a running watts of 6300 and surge watts of 9200.
I have approximately 3 hours on the generator. It runs smooth and have no issues to speak of. I do like the extended warranty that Sears sells. Fill onsite for $113.00 for 3 years.
It has an 8 gallon gas tank that gives it a half load for 13 hours at half load.
Briggs and Stratton 13 hp. Gen Tec OHV engine.4 110 plugs and a 220 plug. Circut breakers on each outlet.
