Got this Yamaha EF3000ISEB 3000 Watt Premium Generator with Yamaha Boost Technology. I advise you to check out the 12 Volt outlet. I found that mine should only be used for battery charging. At low idle it is putting out 15 volts and high idle it is putting out 20 volts, it will burn out any of my 12 volt accessory I hook up to it! (read more)

Okay if you want a light use generator and don't plan on running A/C or a microwave. Requires tune ups every 40-50 hr costing over $200 each time. I bought generator to use with my travel trailer during camping season, but ever since it was new, it has never been able to run microwave and will not run A/C at times. are you using the correct gasoline?, is the air filter blocked? I have owned one of these for 5 years and service it every 500 hours of use and has ran my 12000 btu air con in my trailer for hundreds of trouble free hours and manages a toaster and microwave at a total of 2200 watts easily. Hope someone can fix it for you.
