Dualit 42174 combi 2+2 - Having wrecked 4 or 5 cheapo toasters over the years, finally got one that seems unbreakable. Looks good in stainless steel and makes really good toast. Sandwich cages work fine. Slots are slightly too shallow so that one end of large slice of bread protrudes, but not enough for the whole not to toast.

I have had to put up with this piece of designer crap for 5 years. Poor performance with toasting uneven one side burned the other side hardly browned. Time setting inconsistant with one toasting barley done, and yet the next time you use it on the same setting burned to a cinder. Slot width and depth too small to use with the sandwich maker, and barely able to hold a muffin. (read more)
