Good Points: Great graphics Addicting gameplay Lots of mini games & side missions Incredible storyline
Bad Points: Too pressed for time Can be confusing at parts (but hey, it's a strategy game, what else would you expect?)
General comments: Legend Of Zelda, Majoras Mask too often gets confused with being Ocarina of Time Part 2. When in fact, once you get past the similar graphics, music, sound effects, and even a few characters, the game strives very well on its own. Though it can't really measure up to its predecessor, there are still incredibly new, unique, and innovative elements added to Majora's Mask that seemed to be missing from Ocarina of Time.
You are really pressed for time, however, because you only have 3 days (which is about 72 minutes, I think, in real time) to get what you need done, then you'll have to play the Song of Time, go back to day 1, and start again with some of the same items you had before, but no money, and you'll have to re-attain certain items. It can be tedious, but I still think it's an incredible concept.
One of my favorite things about the game is that all of these different masks will let you do different things. Whereas the masks in OoT were simply for side-mission purposes (most of them, anyway), you really have to utilize your masks here in a creative and useful way.
Overall, the game can't compare to OoT, but it does get close, and standing alone, it's an amazing game. A lot between the two games are similar, but in certain areas, Majora's Mask tends to be just as good and even better than OoT.

The anticipation for the Legend Of Zelda, Majora's Mask game when it came out was extremely high, and sadly it failed the expectation. However, it is still a great game. The only reason for it being seen as a mis hit, is because of the might of the game it was a sequel to. But I am here to review this game, and to new Zelda players it won't disappoint.
The overall feel to it is fun. Its world encapsulates the cartoonish aspect to the world with the musical scores (not as good as OOT) still ar ...

If you've played and enjoyed Ocarina of Time, you'll know what to expect here. You play as Link and must save the world from the moon that is falling to Earth. Its pretty average fare for a Zelda game - you find maps, swords etc, have to talk to people to discover clues as to what you are meant to do next...etc. The thing is - it all seems too familiar. Majora's Mask just feels tired and is too similar to Ocarina of Time. All of the sound effects have been copied and pasted, even some of the cha ...

Legend Of Zelda, Majoras Mask is a good n64 game, but no where near as good as its prequel. But I would still recommend it.
