The Dodge Raider is actually made by Mitsubishi, Japanies reliablity!
Short Wheel Base goes anywhere! Simple construction with small reliable engine results is good fuel economy for no frills SUV. 170,000 miles with lots of dirt and still runs like a champ (with repairs, but hey). O how I lova tis twruck!...

Most Raiders with manual transmissions had a problem with wear causing the lever to pop out of gear; most with more than 80K miles have had a dealer repair kit applied to fix the problem. Otherwise, it's a great little rig but a reluctant freeway cruiser.
