We tried many brands of nappies including Pampers Baby Dry and Simply Dry. Active Fit 5+ is the only nappy that keeps my son dry at night. They do smell chemically but this is a small price to pay for a happy baby. They do have chemicals that turn into gell in them after all. I have read a lot of poor reviews about these nappies but babies are all shaped differently. It took over 20 months before we found our perfect nappy. I hope these work for you… Read Full Review

We've used pampers up until now on our baby boy, although there was a 3 week period in Australia where we had to use Huggies. If we could we would still be using Huggies as the alternative is Pampers Active Fit. Size 4 have been awful for our baby. They leak at the sides. At first I thought it was the way I was fitting them to my boy, but my wife has experienced them leaking too. I also see plenty of reviews to back this up. They've now been a contributing factor to many a soiled/ruined garment… Read Full Review

I have a 5 months old baby and because he is very active we have bought lots of Active Fit. They are not good, they leak even with only one poop. Nearly always on the sides so it stains the vests, others it goes all over the backs. It is awful!! Now he is starting to develop a rash as well. We have got lots of them and I just do not use them any more. They're supposed to keep the babies dry, instead any signs of anything - just rushing to change him!! Not good!!… Read Full Review

I had previously tried Pampers Active Fit when my baby was younger but was not that impressed, having experienced some leaks. Now he is 10 months old and very active, I have tried them again and I am very impressed. They are far superior to the Baby Dry, keeping him dry much longer. They are expensive, but worth buying on offer or combined with any money off vouchers!… Read Full Review

My 5 month old son has an extremely sore bottom at present and absolutely screams whenever I change him. He can't sit down or lie on his back if his bottom is in contact with the floor. I hope it clears up quickly now I have changed brands. They should be removed from the market, and looking at the comments above it seems that I am not the only one with this opinion!… Read Full Review

My son is only a year old so I have never used the "old" version of these nappies but I bought them as he's an active boy and thought they would be a better choice for him. However, the first time he wore them, within about half a day he had developed terrible nappy rash with broken skin and he was really upset with the pain. As soon as i stopped using the Active fit nappies and applied cream the rash cleared up very quickly. I switched back to Pampers baby dry which to be fair is fine for him… Read Full Review

These nappies are terrible, even after they have improved them.
They leak terrible, you can smell urine
terrible and not worth the money, these nappies should be withdrawn from sale… Read Full Review

I used to love these before they changed the design, but the new ones are just appalling! Clothes and bedding are frequently wet, even after an hours nap and we are back to nappy changes in the middle of the night too (for the first time in about 9 months!)
Do not buy them, they are expensive, probably the worst nappies on the market and a total waste of money
(If i could have rated these as 0 stars, i would have but 1 star is the lowest possible rating)… Read Full Review

I am really disappointed, as it seems are many others, with the 'new' active fit nappies by pampers. I originally changed to Pampers as my baby had a reaction to the Huggies nappies we had been using (I had no other complaints about these nappies though and would recommend the Huggies baby nappies). I found the Pampers nappy to have more of a 'smell' about them than the Huggies - even before they were put on - but they worked well and that was more important.
I had never had any leaks with… Read Full Review

My Daughter is 22 months, I have been using Pampers Active Fit since she started crawling and I have always been really happy with them.
Since they have changed this product I will not be buying them again. I cannot trust them. When we go out I am always worried that she is going to leak as this has happened several times. She can no longer wear them for bed as she wakes up through the night soaked through, therefore I have to buy other nappies for night time.
With the hot weather, she had… Read Full Review

I have stopped purchasing Pampers Active Fit nappies since P&G launched the new Dry Max technology. We experienced leaks at night on two instances and my daughter suffered a horrific rash which was far more severe than any nappy rash I have ever seen. This co-incided with the change to these nappies and after switching brands, and with a lot of TLC and very good cream, healed up.
I was once a stalwart Pampers fan but would never purchase this, or any Pampers product, ever again. Shocking… Read Full Review

Poor. The 'new and improved' active fit are dreadful.
They leak regularly.
They have caused a nappy rash so severe that the skin has broken. The gel that absorbs the fluid comes away in little 'pips' that chaff the skin.
I will never buy these again and am steering away from pampers products as they were sneaky in the way they did not inform the consumer of the new and improved product on some of theie packaging. I feel this is an underhand tactic… Read Full Review

I have 4 children and have always used Pampers. But the new version of Active fit are awful. They leak, they feel soggy after only one small wee, and cannot be used through the night. I will not be buying these again! What a waste of money!… Read Full Review

The new design Pampers nappies leaked, and when my daughter weed the nappy hangs low between her legs very low. I found myself changing her ever hour as she just looked so uncomfortable running along with it swaying side to side. thing is I thought I was going mad because I hadnt realised they ad alterd their design! I only bought Pampers now we have switched brands… Read Full Review

I agree with all of the other reviewers who added their reviews in June - I really do not like the new re-design of the active fit pampers - I have been using them for over a year now (for my son who is 2 in July), but have found that with the new re-designed style they "fill up" and leak (didn't have this problem before), I'm really disappointed, and have just bought some Huggies… Read Full Review

I have used active fit for 7 months. My son is a 'heavy wetter' and I never had a problem until recently. Now with the new Max dry system my son has leaked more in one week than he has done since he was born. Last night he leaked through his nappy 5 minutes after I put it on him, wetting himself, his night clothes, bedding, me and my bed clothes - marvellous! Unfortunately I have bought 6 packs - a complete waste of money. I will be looking for a new nappy… Read Full Review

I used to use the active fit nappies all the time, and they were great!! We went away last month, and needed nappies so bought the active fit nappies and we actually took them back to the shop as we thought we had been given a faulty pack! The whole of the back of the nappy, has virtually been removed, with no padding to catch stuff at the back...dreadful! Come on pampers sort it out and revert to the old style!!… Read Full Review

I WAS a huge fan of Pamper Active fit and used them for at least 8 months.. We used them for day and night, until they changed the design to the "New Improved Active Fit with DryMax". When I put the "improved" version on DD they more or less leaked within an hour. This created more nappy changes/more washing/carpet washing (you get the idea?). In my opinion they are not fit for the purpose sold and I would not and will not reccomend this product to anyone.
Try to ignore all the special… Read Full Review

They used to be great but the new 'improved' design is terrible (and just when I bought 2 boxes of the things). The new nappy is flimsy and insubstantial and my daughter's nappies, which have never leaked before, leak every time. i've had to throw away expensive clothing because of these leaks and can only assume Pampers have made these changes to save costs… Read Full Review
