    Good Points: Nice styling

Bad Points: Car is a complete lemon - Saab cars past 2003 are made with GM quality of excellence - none!

General comments: We have owned 3 SAABs - our last being subsequent to GM buying the brand - the first two were great and reliable. This last one - a SAAB 9-3 - has been a disaster - 9 service calls in 15 months and the electrical problem still not fixed. This is not the same Saab as before - buyer beware!

I have the Saab 9-3 Sport Saloon Vector since 2003. A joy to drive but fairs poorly in interior build quality. Rubbery coating on handles, dashboard and switches peeled after half year of use. Then come the noise. Rattling noise seems to be coming from everywhere. Very poor sound system. I like the high torque deliver by this engine. Electronic work well after software upgrade and on board computer is very useful and precise. Comfortable seat and ergonomic interior.

Absolutely happy with the Saab 9-3 Sport Saloon Vector 1.8T Family Car - the aluminium and slate grey leather combination inner with 17 inch easy clean alloys makes this the sporty look model. Went first longer journey recently and a pleasure to cruise at 70mph, rpm just ticking over. Turbo makes the difference in that this relatively large and solid built car has a positive acceleration. I have the 7 speaker upgrade and this is probably a good idea to get reasonable sound quality in the car.
