Good Points: Congenial atmosphere, pleasant cabin, and good food. Somewhat like a private boat.

    Bad Points: Only some entertainment.

General comments: There were many Americans over 60 on our Marco Pole Orient Lines cruise, which was not a problem, as they were mainly travelled, educated people with interesting stories.

The excursions were 'fine' but sedate, and I think to accommodate the age group. On reflection we should have done more on our own. On this Baltic cruise, as a small boat, we were mainly close to the centre of the cites to bus/taxi/walk in... a very useful feature.

Orient have a very good pricing policy on single travellers, and I noticed several male companions for dancing.

I then took this matter up with my Travel Agent, who investigated the point, and told me 'that is just how it is!'I allowed this point to cloud my judgement for the first couple of days, but need not hav ...
