Great if your Italian, but not if you don't speak it ! It was my first of 2 Costa cruise's and they have to be the worst I've done. The ship is managed all over the place and nothing is co-ordinated.
the excursions can be changed last mn, and your notification will be in Italian! yes thats useful !
Its not great, not cheap, and not funny - please try harder !

Having just completed a cruise on the Costa Romantica from Dubai to Muscat, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and back to Dubai I would seriously have to consider whether I would venture on to a Costa ship again. Although the ship was clean and the service staff friendly and considerate, the overall management needs to be re-focused as the day to day management of the ship was not up to standard. I agree with every word you have written only we were on the Luminosa doing the same trip. You forget to mention that all the ports of call are commercial container ports with nothing pretty about them, unless you like containers that is.
