    Looks good. Good capacity in ARISTON MBA3832V ARI MBA3832V fridge and freezer compartments. Like the solid shelves in the fridge but Door is hinged such that the product cannot be sited flat against a wall, i.e. the door opens further than indicated by the nominal dimensions.

    Shocked to realise the freezer has ceased to function. Amazed that the failure occurred 3 days after our 5 year guarantee expired. Naturally we are now looking for another fridge / freezer but not an Ariston. Should we expect a product like this to last only 5 years?

    I did the mistake of buying the same fridge. The stories I read are similar to mine. It started making a horrible noise after some months, which at the 10th month became unbearable. Supposedly the service fixed it. Well, they simply defrosted it I think. Same thing happened 3 more times. Last time I payed 200 Euro for a spare part that would do magic.     Not only it broke down 4 times in less than 2 years, but the company keeps "fixing" it with no results, plus they demand each time that I have to pay for any spare parts. Nothing has been fixed though and they are very rudely denying any responsibility. Stay away from Ariston and Indesit (Ariston belongs to them) in general.

    If I'd have know this Ariston fridge was going to break down so soon - obviously I wouldn't have bought it! I recommend you to stay away from this product!

    I agree with the previous reviewer - my Ariston MBA3832V fridge has also been a real pain.

    It looks lovely, and when working it is great. But it first broke down at less than a year old, and it took 2 engineer visits and 6 weeks to fix it at the height of summer.

    Now it is 2.5 years old and it has broken down again. Ariston want £95 to send someone out to fix it, and I am not at all convinced it would be fixed at the first visit given my experience before.

    The Ariston MBA3832V ARI has been nothing but trouble. If you buy Ariston do not expect any customer service. It was not self defrosting. It broke down after 11 months. Manufacturer Merloni Elettrodomestici UK were very slow about sending an engineer and even then he didn't know what to do. After 3 others had been they grundgingly fixed it. It broke down again a year later and now, at two years old, they will not come out and fix it unless I pay about £90 for an engineer!!!
