You people need to rlsiee, airplanes will NOT run into those mountains, the turn is there because the FAA is uptight about that kind of stuff, but on any normal commercial jet flight the jet has a sustainable VERT. SPD. to get over the mountains. (read more)

Exellent ship Mariner of the Seas, all the staff were good, the captain would stop and have a chat, buy a round of drinks on our table. The ship is so big it takes a couple of days to work it all out. I would not recommend Iglo cruise's to book your holiday, they told me its a direct flight, then you I found out there were lots of airport transfers in america, its a nightmare, no help from them when back in the uk. I confirm that everything written in this review is true and correct . (read more)

The Mariner of the Seas is a wonderful ship. I will cruise with them again, but not in the Caribbean. The bad points were transfers which seemed to be a very ad hoc disorganised affair, with no rep from rccl just a grumpy coach driver. This continued with the shore trips again with no rep from the ship. Really didn't like the fact that guests smoked from their balcony's. The trip ashore in Jamaica was a disaster, couldn't wait to get back to the ship. (read more)

Even before online cruise reviews existed, I have always said, "A cruise is the best vacation for Mom", all you have to do is unpack, and leave the rest to crew. The Mariner of the Seas is a grand hotel within a small city. You can't ask for more, the shows were great, the Ice Show stands out as one of the highlights of our cruise, what a wonderful exciting show. Food excellent, our waiter, and assistant waiter, what gracious and caring people! Our room steward was so helpful and efficient,... (read more)

Yes, Mariner of the seas was wonderful. My husband and I booked our first cruise on the Western Mediterranean on the 22 of July 2011.Everything was great, untill the last day when we left the ship (our baggage was taken the previos night) collected our baggage and went to take the train to the hotel in Rome.Noone reminded us to collect our passports from the reception desk on the 5th floor. It was only when the hotel receptionist asked for our passports that we realised we had left them in the ship! So we had to take a taxi and rush back to the ship(200 klm) to get our passports! Our stateroom TV never once did remind anyone to collect the passports before leaving the ship. All they did was advertise the tours in Rome and shore excursions. It would be very much appriciated if they reminded the guests to collect their passports before leaving the ship, at least on the last day.
