Good Points: They had what I wanted at a good price
Bad Points: Stock hard to find all over the place
General comments: A trip to get Christmas presents proved worthwhile. Having tried my local Tesco and having been unable to get the latest Sopranos box set or REM's latest CD, a trip to Oxford Street was needed.
I found Tenachious D's CD at the same price as it was in Tesco. Looking around the Virgin Megastore a bit got me the last copy they had of REM's In Time Best Of. I was lucky.
Then a trip up the escalator to get the DVD box set of Sopranos 6. What a caffuffle walking around and around. I found series 5 OK, but no 6. I had to ask a member of staff, who kindly walked me around the shop until we found it. At £50 it did not seem like much of a bargain however.

Its biggest rival must be HMV, which, personally, I prefer. Virgin Megastore has a slight "interlectual" feel about it. You feel like you have to have a masters degree in music just to enter the store, where ...
