I like shopping in WHSmith, they always have a large collection of stationary and many books, and also many times if you need a book and can't find it you can ask them to get it for you and they will. I also recently bought a discounted Epson printer at half price, paid £35 for it and couldn't been happier with it. (read more)

I found this book shop has a quite lot of collection, specially the illford branch. The staff are helpful. and always when i go there I spent more than what I budget for as they have got good selections. (read more)

“Please please keep away from there online store, even...”

Please please keep away from there online store, even if the price is one of the cheapest. We tried to order three books on the 16th December 2010, hoping that it would be delivered in time of Xmas. It it now 9th March 2011 and WHSmith have cancel our order because 'The product detailed above has been canceled due to it no longer being in stock' and yet it the same product still on offer from there website and still have the availability: 3 - 5 working days! for the exact some book! WHSmith is well stocked, however, I find prices there exorbitant and they've usually been understaffed resulting in large queues before I can pay and leave. (read more)

On every visit to my local WHSmith I ususlly find something new and interesting. Before our branch was built, my Father and I used to have to catch the bus to Ilford but now WHS is just a short walk away. Highly enjoyable store to visit, great staff, great prices (especially the recent sale) and great atmosphere. Love it!! (read more)

WHSmith is a great shop for buying stationary and loads more stuff it has loads and loads of magazines, and there is some nice stuff to buy people presents. If you haven't got a rubber or ruler or something like that it is a very handy shop indeed. And they're always doing special offers. (read more)
