Good Points: Size of ship Choices of activities 130 nationalities of staff Friendly, pleasant service from all staff

Bad Points: If there isn't a lot of children on board (ages 12-17), most scheduled activities are cancelled Cabin room set up. We hoped to have the two beds pushed together nightly to sleep in (Kids had the bunk beds which were great). We asked the attendant if he could put our beds together and the answer was 'no'. He needed the beds apart in order to get the bunk beds made. It was our inquiry if we could push the beds together for us to sleep in, and he said sure (but he wasn't going to do that for us)

General comments: Serenade of the Seas:: We were kept busy for 11 days (Hawaii to Ensenada, Mexico) We all loved the food choices on board (Sea View Cafe was our favourite hang out for mid-night snacks!) The dining room staff made our entire trip. Anthony (waiter), Lubo (assistant waiter) and Mary-Ann (Head waiter) made all meals superb. The chefs out did themselves with the selections of food each and every night. We had a party of 18 people (16 adults and 2 children) and all were pleased with meals, activities, show productions and shopping. The art auctions were a big thrill and everyone came away with a piece of art for attending. We looked forward to each night before bed to reading the Compass newsletter explaining the next day's activities and events. All shore excursions went very well to all islands. (no line ups, no hassles of waiting, etc) There was a lot to choose from as to activities on shore (whether pre-booked or own choices) Stores were fairly close to tenders or ship. Daily room cleaning was sufficient and thorough. For four people (2 adults and 2 children), we had enough space (cosy at times) but manageable. (Bunk beds made it great for the kids) As for the parents, we had to push our beds together every night in order to sleep together. (that would be our only complaint)
