These speakers are typical of Tannoy speakers in that they are designed to be driven by powerful amplifiers. When sufficiently driven, they deliver a very powerful, rich and clear sound with plenty of top and bottom, without being helplessly swamped by bass as is typical of more efficient speaker designs.
These speakers are not fantastic value for money, but driven by a big amplifier they deliver a good solid sound that should be sufficient for all but the largest room.

Excellent clarity, throughout the entire volume scale. Good bass presence without dominating the speech. High power handling and impeccable build quality.
