    Good Points: Sturdy construction, battery life, hands free built in, aesthetic design.


    Bad Points: Not the smallest of phones.


    General comments: This Alcatel One-Touch dB Easy mobile phone isn't 'sexy', it's cute. A good basic phone that does all I ask of it (if you want a multitude of tunes, buy an MP3 player!). Outstanding standby time (I charge it once a week for around 45 mins). I've dropped it several times and apart from minor marks on the casing, it shows no signs of damage. Not tiny, but feels good in the hand.

    The Alcatel OTE DB was my first mobile phone, two years ago. I was extremley pleased of it at first, for the standby time was exceeding 6 days, and the recharge time was about 1-2h. Then, one day, while in a mountain trip, i fell in a river and the phone got 'fishy'. After that, i dried it in the sun, and started it as nothing happened, but the standby reduced to 2-3 days :( After a month or two, the phone suddendly refused to start after a recharge.     Overall, i think that this phone is quite good, if your the kind of person who is looking for a simple phone that works and is affordable.

    If your looking for a little innovation in your handphone, then stay away from this phone.

    Nothing is perfect except the Alcatel Easy Touch DB.
    I 've had other mobile phones but this one is special. Easy to deal with, bright colour (mine is orange/red), when I have it on my desk everybody wants to look at it - I am very happy to have bought this mobile phone. I reccomended it.

    I like the way that it hides messages so people can't read them when you dont want them to. It's lightweight so it doesn't weigh me down, but it doesnt fall out of my pocket either.

    I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's so hard to use and I'm really disappointed. It's no exaggeration when I say that it dents your fingers when you press the up and down buttons. The only half good thing is the 'speaker phone' facility!!!

    I curse the day I bought this fone. There is nothing good to say about this fone. But then again there is nothing good to say about alcatel now is there? They should stick to making telecommunication equipment that do not have the word "mobile phone" in them.

    I have used this phone for over a year now. It has proven to be very reliable. It never lets me down. Very fast charging. Hands free function really works, I use it as a speakerphone for audio-conferencing.
    User interface is OK.
    Ring tones are fixed, but hey, this is a phone, not a synthesizer.

    freezes if phone number is engaged and you have to take the battery out to clear it. battery life is a joke 48 hrs sometimes,thats even with a first charge of 24 hrs. ring tones are s@!t . on the other hand it is quiet sturdy. dont buy one.

    Seems to have good battery life. Good audio quality if a little low at peak volume on earpiece. Has two buttons for on and off but only one to start/end a call - opposite to many phones.
