Good Points: Great overall portrayal of what was once considered to be a black sheep in world youth culture.
Bad Points: It wasn't extensive enough for serious study of sub culture.
General comments: Great quick read for someone who has had no idea what Skinhead culture is all about. Even better for the collector that already has the book.

George Marshall, Spirit of '69: a Skinhead Bible is a history of the 'Skinhead Culture' from its birth in the sixties to the present of 1994 (when the book was written). Marshall talks about all of the aspects of the culture from politics to music to even fashion in a no nonsense down to earth way where you feel he could be talking to you.
