Good Points: Vodafone.
Quick charging.
Infared.
JAVA.
Bad Points: Slow connection.
Bad connection to Vodafone Live!.
Not very strong.
Poor quality photos.
No video facility.
General comments: The Sharp GX10 is a reasonably good phone for your average person. Although it looks very technically advanced, it is actually of the same standard as would be the Nokia 3210. It's no good for people that want good quality connections, good quality photos or a hard-wearing structure.

I've had my phone about two months, I didn't pay for it, it was a gift so I can't complain about the price although when they first came out I was disgusted. The phone itself is great, not too big, but not too small that you will lose it. As I mentioned the outer case scratches quite easily. The java games, ringtones and WAP are brilliant, and the storage is immense. Unfortunately I can't say the same for amount of SMS it holds... could of been better. The picture ID calling is great but only wo ...- Read realsweetgirl's review (236 words)

The Sharp GX10 is my first flip phone. Good quality games camera etc. Compared to some of todays newer phones this was faster and a lot more reliable. The only thing was that the pixels made the screen look slightly blocky but as I said it was one of the first of it's type. I'd definitely reccommend this to someone looking for a fairly low priced phone that will not let them down.- Read bughead's review (79 words)

With the exception of it's sleek design, compact features the Sharp GX10 has one major flaw and that is to do with the data cable and modem installation disk and this flaw really needs to be rectified. The problem is that with the new in thing being broadband you cannot get your modem installation disk to recognise that Broadband it is already installed and that your ISP is a Broadband network therefore GX10 does not run to it's full potential or do what it say's on the packet.- Read Bishop74's review (122 words)

This phone is great in every way possible,
Colour Screen - 65,000 colours great for picture viewing and for gaming.
Poly Ringtones - 16 chords, not as good as some 40 chord phones, but it still is great.
Games - Three preset non java games, and one preset Java Game with downloadable ones via Vodafone Live! Fast and 3D
Stylsh - The keypad is very stylish and the outside is very futurised looking.
Camera - Cool and brilliant camera, resolution not too good.
Wap + MMS - MMS and wa ...- Read buttonz1000's review (164 words)

Its hard to know where to start, ok well lets get the good points out of the way, loads of thought went into the camera and picture side of the Sharp GX10 Mobile Phone, its a pretty good picture too. Nice and colourful screen and games are fun when in your break at work or whatever BUT:
-The text messaging for those who like to be fast is dreadfully slow you could type and then look back and see youve missed out letters here and there and also when messaging you will ALWAYS press the 'hang up' ...- Read Harry2k2's review (324 words and 1 comment)

I bought the Sharp GX10 mobile phone and at first it seemed cool but Vodafone is too expensive compared to other Networks. You can not change themes and you area always stuck on vodafone own.The menu was first difficult to use but in time get use to the strange order. Most disapointing feature is SMS which only stores 10. It looks good and has a goood colour display- Read Roddy Bongo's review (98 words)

Having had the GX10 Since it first came out, I have seen loads of better camera and even video phones released since. I think it would suit the GX10's large colour screen better if it used an icon based menu like the GD87. The GX10 was the best phone when it first came out, but there have been much better ones since then. It was and still is a really good phone, but I think sharp brought the GX20 out at the right time.- Read BOB's review (118 words)

The Sharp GX10 Mobile phone is superb, I couldn't decide between the Sharp Gx10i or the Samsung V200 , but i'm glad i went for this one, the price plan deals on line at vodafone are just to good to be true and should not be missed if you are considering a new contract.- Read houstie's review (69 words)

When I first got my phone, I was impressed with its size and the way it looked. Finished in like a titanium grey, it does look the business. The screen is a good size and colors are strong. The camera is pretty good quality if, like me, you are only gonna be taking pictures of people larkin about. Don't expect digital camera quality but it does the job fine for general snaps. Having previously owned Nokia phones, the Sharps menu seems somewhat alien. Don't get me wrong, it is clear and easy to u ...- Read Scott's review (295 words and 2 comments)

I have my Vodafone Live! GX10 since February '03, the phone is good in attracting other people's attention on you. Its downloadable games collection gives hours of fun.
But the phone sucks when comes to organizer capabilities.
The calendar is poorer than poor (only 3 events per day, no reminder possible), the alarm clock is even worse (it can only be programmed 24 hours in advance, it cannot contain any notes so sometimes you don't remember why you set the alarm in the first place and the MOST ...- Read giorgio's review (168 words and 1 comment)

Everything about this phone is great! The reciption is amazing and GPRS is sooooooooo cheap! It has a very stylish keypad and screen. Vodafone live is great but can be very unreliable when vodafone is updating it. The ringtones surprised me when i heard them at first and the graphics are great. The camera is good and takes amazing pictures compared to 3G phones. It is the first time in my life that i have not wanted to change the phone. I usually end up wanting another one. I would recommend thi ...- Read Alex's review (120 words)

I use Vodafone LIVE with this phone and have been told more URL sites will be available to visit.
I use email a fair bit and sometimes it is the only reason i come home, now i can party, check email and party again. So Cool.
There is so much you can do with this phone, the JAVA games are unreal, LOVE PACMAN.
It is true it is an addictive phone to use, my old phone is now a DOOR STOPPER, wedged under the DOOR.
Its a Shame you cant flip the Camera around and have a VIDEO Phone aswell. And I wo ...- Read ausleo's review (218 words)
