    Still the best e-retail website by far. Easy to use, easy to pay, everything you'd ever want all in one place. Play.com is good too, but I prefer Amazon still

    I've used amazon for the past 7 or 8 years and have always found their site to be easy to use and order from.

    They have never really let me down when it comes to delivery times and quality of the product on delivery (e.g. never had damaged goods etc).

    I particularly like the recommendations system they have and the ability for customers to create lists of products that you can browse. It's a great way to find new books and films that are of a similar nature to ones you already like.

    I recently ordered a few books from second hand dealers on Amazon. Even though some came from America, they arrived promptly and in great condition.

    The website is easy to use and well laid out. It also recommends things you might like based on previous purchases, which you can amend (say if you've bought something as a gift).

    I've been using Amazon since 2005 and make roughly 10 orders per year. I've always received get customer services and not had any issues.

    exasperating experience,It's incredibly hard to email their 'customer support' . It's easier to email NASA.

    After I received my books later than I should have,I wanted to return one of them,because it was misrepresented on their site (it was a book for high school, but none of that was mentioned in the description.     I've used Amazon on a number of occasions over the years. I've never experienced a problem and the goods I've ordered have always been delivered on time.

    I can't comment on the customer service as I've never had to phone or email with a problem. The products I've ordered have always been reasonably priced and equally quite competitive. On a couple of occasions I've found the item cheaper elsewhere, but I'd still rather go through Amazon, as I feel more confident using this established compan ...

    I remember the glory days of Amazon, back in 2003 - 2004 when your order would be with you in 2 days, even if you chose free delivery.
    Sadly, this is no longer the case. While I'm happy that all my goods have arrived within the estimation date, I get increasingly frustrated that these estimation dates get further and further away.
    However, I cannot give up Amazon even if I wanted to, because they are almost always the cheapest, and I'd prefer to wait and sit there steaming rather than pay more ...

    I have been using Amazon.co.uk for a long time now. Ordered the Western Digital external harddrive. Arrived the very next day, brilliantly packaged as usual. Also helpful is the fact that they deliver to my office address.

    They weren't offering the best price on the market, but then its worth going with Amazon if its a question of a few quid here and there.

    Having used amazon as both a buyer and a seller- I can say this is going to take over a lot of internet sales. It's light years ahead of the likes of e-bay, and now stocks a wider range of products whilst providing a real guarantee of security protecting buyers.On the seller side they are excellent with their customer services- I can an instant call back when requested from my seller account at no cost to myself.

    Amazon were a brilliant company to be with until they sold out to lovefilm, i was with lovefilm before and they were sending no discs, and took out my money on a free trial, if amazon were still doing there own rentals i would not have left, i couldn't fault them they would be 5 star

    Amazon.co.uk is where I purchase most items. Prices are very good and delivery always fast even with the Free Super Saver. Although the seem to be selling everything nowadays and perhaps taking away from other independant stores/sites, they are good at what they do. Hassle free ordering.

    I must have bought over 50 products from Amazon which have always been the best or nearly best value on the market. All have arrived within reasonable time and all have been packaged well. If you can get hold of the number, their customer service section is pretty good too. Very unlikely to have a problem with this supplier. Very reliable.

    Newish site. Good price at Amazon for most tracks. Always being added to. Have downloaded 14 CDs worth of stuff. Only two minor hiccups.

    Amazons MP3 download store recently launched in the UK, I have used it about half a dozen times now without problem.
    Downloads quick and reliable, cheaper than Itunes, average track 69/79p.
    They have a selection of albums at £3 complete, not just a load of oldies, I downloaded the latest from Take That, & Kings of Leon before christmas, also David Bowies Greatest Hits Double album again all for £3 each.
    Nice one Amazon.

    Amazon have the widest selection of any website, the prices are often cheap and ordering is easy.However, the free delivery option is often incredibly slow, with orders sitting in the Amazon system ("we are preparing these items for dispatched") often for several days.Packaging is sometimes very poor (due to overstretched staff) - for example, large format books forced into boxes that are too small.     I've used Amazon now for over 10yrs. And in that time it has improved considerably. They do have a wide variety of goods on there, and the opening up to other traders has improved the range of products.I've bought lots of things and never had to use their customer service so can't comment on that but all in all its reliable.
