Peter Walsh, Gang War - As I live in the heart on Manchester, I see gang-related violence all the time, and as people who have read this book will know, Chris Little was a ruthless gangster, this interested me a lot, as not only do I live just two roads away from Marsland Terrace, where Little has his house, but my father used to be Chris Little's sparring partner, and he was always "Uncle Chris" to me. Loved this book, thank you Peter Walsh for telling it like it is.
Many of my friends were featured in the book......I went to their funerals.....the book tells how it was, I know because I was living on Range Road behind Gooch close and frequently heard the goings on....I would firmly recommend anyone to read this book......It was a different world there in 1980-90's....Peace to all the fallen brothers.
