Good Points: Good in that it has a large phone book..over 160 people. Can hold up to 30 sms messages at one time. Good battery life and a small phone really. Good reception but if you get no reception once - you will find yourself turning it off and on again to make it call!

Bad Points: Has to sit in the charger, therefore can't talk easily while its charging. Has a external antena...bit annoying. Cannot use standard hands free pieces, however comes with a loud speaker option (fine if you like everyone else hearing your conversation). NOT A DIGITAL CLOCK??? why put a fake non digital clock on a phone???

General comments: The Alcatel OneTouch 303 is a good phone for the non fussy user however its inability to recieve any type of fancy sms does get to me. It is very easy to get around on, as are all the other Alcatel phones. I had a problem with the reception, where it refused to get any at all, however i sent it away and it was back with me by the end of the next week - havn't had a problem since, they also updated the software on the phone which changed a few menu options but thats about it.

If you want a phone for safety, just to carry around, great they are cheap now, but resale they will be worth nothing - so keep that in mind. Not for teenagers who want something fancy - not that anyone cares seeing they arn't sold anymore, but if you get a second hand one and your paying over $20 (au) for it...get a good phone...its not worth it.

Your efforts in making the phone small and portable is commendable. However, you should make it possible that it does not have an antenna, in order to make it fully wireless. It is good, it could be better.

The Alcatel Onet Touch 303 mobile phone is a piece of garbage. Some good features, 1 good game but it has broke 2 TIMES, i will NEVER buy an Alcatel again!!!!! Waste of money. Bought for $130 (Australian) and second hand will sell for about $30 (Aus)!!!!!
    DON'T BUY ONE.
