General comments: The diary of Anne Frank was found in the ' secret Annexe ' where they were hiding for years until the Germans discovered where they lived. Her
diary shows what it was like for the jews at the time, and how hiding has it ' s down sides. In 1942, When Nazis had came to take control of
Holland , Anne; a thirteen year old Jewish girl, her family and another family went into hiding from the Nazis, because Margot ; Anne ' s sister, got letter saying that she had to go work in a concentration camp, and if they didn ' t go into hiding they woul all be found and killed by the Germans. They went into hiding in the ' secret Annexe ' which was in an old office building her dad use to work at. The office workers helped them get food and other supplies they may needed to stay alive! They stayed there for two years until someone told the Gestapo where they were hiding and they got found and sent off to Concentration camps. Only the father survived.
Anne writes about all her private thoughts and emotions. Expressing how she feels about her other house mates. She writes about her courage and braveness to stay alive, no matter what ' s at stake.

What can i say about this book except that it is a totally humbling and emotional experiece.
A book with a witty sense of humour, you will find that you will personally know these (indeed real people) and experience their hard times and develope a new understanding of what it is like for the jews at the time of worls war two.
Over all an inspiring and yet deeply moving book!- Read Adam Hughes's review (83 words)

To me this book is one of the most boring pices of literature I have ever read. Everyone keeps saying how sad the book is, and to me it is just facts. Lots of jews went through what she went through. GET OVER THE BOOK!!!- Read xhkjhgf's review (47 words)
