I shoot everyday so I will give a review from an experienced perspective. My review will compare the Daisy 008 to the Walther CP Sport.
Accuracy: The Daisy 008 is accurate enough to shoot a clothes line at 22ft. The CP Sport not so much!! The Walther seems to shoot wherever it wants too. It took about 40 shots to adjust the rear sight enough to be able to shoot Corona Bottles somewhat accurately at 22 feet. Accuracy is not the CP Sports strong suit.
Quality: Construction quality goes...

Very good, accurate pistol. I don`t think it`s worth fitting fancy sights, it`s accurate enough and easy enough to home in on your target with the open sights. Rather noisy, so I bought a (very inexpensive) Umarex moderator. Just slightly fiddly to replace a full mag without losing pellets,either on the floor or in the breech. It does what it says on the tin ! Fast, accurate and powerful. (read more)

This fine piece of German engineering(just like their women) by Umarex is amongst many of my pistol collection. having owned a CP99 in the past, i am all too familiar with its features. it's body is exactly same shape and styling. only lacking feature is the single action, decocking and that CP99 has more metal to it. other than that, pretty much the same. The CP Sport has the accessories rail which is really handy as i like to use red dot for quick target aquisitions. Trigger pull is smooth... (read more)

The only slight things than annoy me is It doesnt like pointed pellets (they are longer than flats and the mag cant rotate) the other thing is the mag takes ages to reload (this can be sorted by getting some more mags, come in 3 packs)

I've only had my CPS for a couple of days now but am very pleased. I also have the Walther PPK/S airgun...great quality and wonderful blowback, but lousy accurace (bb's) and anemic performance.
The CPS has typical Umarex build quality, which is to say very good. Fit and finish is superb and the heft and feel is much like it's real firearm counterpart, the P99.

This is a really fun gun to shoot, but if your serious about target shooting this isn't the gun for you. It is a good plinking pistol though, it is quite loud for the first 10 or 15 shots. The gun is well made and will last many years if you lubricate it regularly. After you get the hang of the hard trigger pull it isn't so bad but it is frustrating the first few times you shoot it. I recently purchased the Walther CP-Sport at the local shop - reasons, let's face it price. Comparatively to others this Co2 pistol is not that expensive and is a good beginner gun. In terms of this part of the market, the fps difference does not make all that much of a difference, especially in terms of what they are supposed to do. However if you were still looking for a future purchase in co2 pistols, for realism the Beretta 92fs is about as real as it gets (actually weighing more than the real thing and an all metal construction), but for power in the same format as the CPS, you can't get much more powerfull than the RWS C225 at 500fps (its pretty much the same set up but with single-action aswell).
There is the option of the crosman 1377, its a pump-up pneumatic with variable power, which at the top end is about 625fps (.177) or a huge 475fps in .22! the looks aren't to everyone's taste though....

The Walther CP Sport is a pistol that is modelled after a military pistol (which is why it has a long, heavy trigger pull). This pistol was made for fun not accuracy, so don't expect to much out of it. When some people buy this pistol they think it is a plinker pistol not a replica (which it is)! Take it from me if you want a cheap, powerful, fairly accurate gun that will not discharge when you are not expecting it. This is the pistol you will need. I bought it knowing that, some people... Is that your review for CP Sport???? Because the gun isn’t anything like you described;
<br>
<br>First of all CP Sport is NOT fully automatic, FYI fully automatic means you pull the trigger once and the gun fires a number of shots depending on how long you hold back the trigger. CP Sport is double action only pistol (which is not as good as Double/ Single action feature ie CP99 model). And it certainly not nearly powerful enough for any pest control at 360fps with light pellets. BTW the average for CO2 pistols is around 400fps…And how can a gun with 3.3in barrel be accurate? Not to mention an awful (heavy) trigger. Sorry I just don’t get it…
Written on: 14/02/2006
FYI: Actually, in the context of pistols 'automatic' fire refers to self loading capabilities, not continuous fire. Continuous fire hand-guns, such as the Uzi are generally referred to as sub-machine pistols.
Written on: 15/02/2006

I’m not too sure about only little kids having problems with CP Sports trigger, in fact most serious (target) shooters want a gun than has a nice light trigger. It’s all about the accuracy. I personally wouldn’t buy the gun because of the low power, bad accuracy and heavy DAO trigger, but that's just me :)

Hey hey hey... lets just say one thing. The CpSport is a beginners gun, yeah the trigger is a little heavy but what do you expect this is no serious marksmans pistol. I agree with you the power is a little low..... BUT like i said what else do you want for like 180 CDN?
Written on: 08/01/2007
Actually i think the trigger stiffness is very crucial to any shooter regardless of age and strength. I mean i'm sure almost anyone can pull the trigger if they tried, but the stiffer the trigger, the more you're going to have to squeeze the gun. This means that it will throw off accuracy every time you take a shot. For accurate shots, i would always check that the trigger is easy to pull.

Dont put too much money on the Walther CP Sport.
It looks good (black version), it feels good, it has a good finish but:
The accuracy is on pair with much cheaper models
which makes it good only for plinking
It has a heavy trigger and all you can do is to grease it a bit
It is loud, if you dont load the pellets carefully it will jam
And is low powered
Calling a hammer a hammer what you get for 100+$ is a good looking plinking pistol.

What this reviewer has failed to put in regards is the fact that this is a TRAINING pistol. It's SUPPOSED to have a heavy trigger pull in order to condition a shooter for heavy pulls. This means that when a user trains with a CP sport, then uses an actual P99, the trigger will be percieved as extreremely light. Also this item is actually really accurate; it's the trigger pull that causes this, and if you can't shoot accuratly and consistently on an Index sized target 25 feet away, then your obviosly not a good shot.

Well, here in Germany this thing costs a tick less than 100 of our euros. For 100 you can get the beeman p3 which has far better accuracy. I have them both and I can tell you that it does not matter how I pull the trigger on the Walther, it will never get close to the beeman in terms of accuracy...

Overall, I'd have to say this Walther CP Sport is a fun Air Pistol to shoot. The CO2 cartridges seem to hold out OK. I haven't actually counted the number of shots per cartridge, but it seems to be around 40.
Now that I have this one for fun, I think I'll start looking to the single shot pump up models for more accuracy.
I had originally started out to get the PPK model when the clerk told me this one was far superior. Oh well.

Update; After lubing the gun real well with Tri-Flow and shooting it for a few more days, the trigger seems to have improved a bit. It's still not great, but better than it was originally. The gun seems to shoot semi consistantly high and to the left by around an inch each way, so I find that aiming an inch low and to the right allows me to start scoring hits. The sights are already adjusted about as far as they can go.
<br> Also, I switched pellets and seem to have remedied the jamming factor.
<br> The more I shoot this gun, the more I like it. Not for it's legendary accuracy, LOL, but for the sheer fun factor. ;-)

I will make the same comment as I did with Webblogger. Both of you seem to have left out of consideration is that this is a training pistol. It has a heavy trigger pull on purpose for conditioning, you get used to a heavy trigger pull, and when you administer use of a real P99, the trigger pull seems exteremely light. The trigger pull is likely to be the cuase of the unfavorable accuracy. It is perfect for target practice on anything within 30ft, and if you cannot achieve consistent and small groupings at that distance, then marksmanship is the deal; you probably aren't a good shot. I recomend shooting at a weaver stance and slowly pulling the trigger; you'll see how accurate it really is:)

Hi, I've read many of your reviews and decided to buy a Walther CPSport (in fact I buy UMAREX but it appears that they only put the parts together and the result is that the product is a cheaper:) Anyway, the results perfectly match your review!
<br>
<br>This air pistol is perfect! I love it! But I think I have a problem. When I put the part that holds the 8 pellets (I forgot the name of that part – it is a little cylinder with 8 holes) sometimes the trigger is blocked and I can't shoot. I found that the mechanism that rotates that part is not working (sometimes). If I open the pistol and then close it again it starts working, but sometimes it is blocked.
<br>
<br>Can you tell me is it normal the trigger to be blocked sometimes?
<br>It just can’t be pulled; it is like the blocking that appears when the pistol is opened for loading with pellets.

Yes this is the same gun that is used in a nighthawk. Personally, I don't think it has enough power to kill a rat. When /i was younger, I shot a squirrel with a Crosman 1008 and it took 2 whole clips to kill the it (thats 16 pellet shots total). The last three were in the head at point blank)
<br>
<br>This gun would probably wound the rat but not kill it. Eventually the rat will probably die of lead poisioning if left alone.
<br>
<br>I suggest a 500+fps gun if you want to effectivly kill pests.
Written on: 04/01/2005
Thanks SL33pyRiceBoi! I agree, the 500fps guideline should be followed if you’re looking for a gun to be used for pest control or hunting.
<br>
<br>However, I have killed many ground squirrels and jack rabbits with CO2 pistols that shoot under 500fps. Range becomes crucial when hunting with pistols that shoot under 500fps. It can be done, but if you do not make a kill shot it can be a cruel death. Therefore, stick with a gun that shoots more than 500fps.
<br>
<br>I have read some of your reviews and found them helpful!
<br>
<br>I purchased (3) guns to eliminate roof rats in our palms and avocado tree. First Gun purchased was the new Daisy 617x with a 485fps (bb) muzzle velocity, Crosman pumpmaster 760 brd (600fps) and finally the Walther NightHawk (360 fps).
<br>
<br>So far I have not been able to determine a noticeable velocity difference between the three. I am shooting close range targets because the rats are no more than 10ft to 20ft distance.
<br>
<br>The daisy was too inaccurate (shoots 3" below what you aim at) until I equipped it with a trigger guard mounted laser (rats run from laser dot). I have since eliminated (3) rats with the Crosman. I didn’t get my KnightHawk early enough before the rats decided to start hiding or check out so I have not been able to compare it on a live target. (for the record; the KnightHawk is an extremely accurate gun that is manufactured incredibly and FUN to shoot!)
<br>
<br>For any one else who may be confused about which gun is used for the KnightHawk, its the CPSport! I was confused after finding liars on Gun Broker.com (BEWARE). Some guys were advertising the KnightHawk as a KnightHawk CP99 and selling it for about $50.00 more. They used pictures of the CP99 in the photographs and when I questioned them, they refused to answer if they modified the stock model!
<br>
<br>I called Crosman to confirm that the CPSport is the gun that was used for the KnightHawk and then ordered it online.
<br>
<br>I was considering purchasing the CP99 Trophy with a red dot laser to get the double action feature and because I read it has a much better trigger pull. But I am still doing my research and I may purchase another pistol that has a faster velocity.
<br>
<br>Does anyone have any recommendations? It is only legal to shoot and kill rats and mongoose in Hawaii. Mongoose are considered pests because they are killing the rare native birds and were introduced to kill rats, however the Indian mongoose is a day hunter and the rats are nocturnal. Therefore, Hawaii had an environmental disaster introducing the mongoose.
<br>
<br>Also, there are few places to be able to shoot. I spoke with the police and they suggested shooting in the country (hills) on hiking trails as long as I can keep my gun concealed and don’t get into trouble. That pretty much leaves my options to a pistol that can be holstered or hidden in a backpack.
<br>
<br>I would appreciate any feedback or recommendations for pistols that can be used for pest patrol.

Well said haxaiiratkiller. but i think you ment "single action" when you said:
<br>
<br>"I was considering purchasing the CP99 Trophy with a red dot laser to get the DOUBLE ACTION feature and because I read it has a much better trigger pull."
<br>
<br>CP99 offers single action + double action, CP2 only offers double action. but no worries, only a miss type.
<br>
<br>I do agree with everything you said. but the squirrel I shot was not a small one, it was kinda big probably at least a foot long from head to tail. so that is why it took 2 whole chips to shoot.
<br>
<br>And yes, you will not notice the differnce in accuracy (between a 360fps and a 500fps) when you are shoot at close range. however, when you aim it at an open distance, and shoot it, and try and follow the pellet path, you WILL see a difference. the 350 fps will have a faster down fall than the 500fps one.
<br>
<br>And as in hunting pistols, I suggest the hurricane or somthing for a bit longer range. however, my fave gun right now is the Beretta 92fs. It is nice because it has a 5" barrel. I've done testes on it with a 7.9gr pellet and it actually does around 430fps. probably because of the 5" barrel. I'll write more later...

OK, iI finally came a cross a few rats in our kitchen and shot and killed them with the CPSport (NightHawk). The first pest was huge (10") body 20" total length. It died after only two shots. I was approximately 12ft distance and on shot #2 from my CO2 cartridge.
<br>
<br>Later I eliminated a 4" pest (10" total length) from about 20ft. It died instantly as I was able to make a head shot with the red-dot sight.
<br>
<br>I havent had this kind of luck with my Crosman American Orginal! It supposedly shoots 600fps, but I havent been able to kill larger rats with it. I get one shot off and then they run away into some hole. The accuracy of the CPSport over the Crossman is considerable and even with a supposedly less powerful gun, the CPSport works much, much more effectively eliminating pests (brown rats) at close range.

SL33pyRiceBoi, I have a Beretta too and love it!
<br> I don’t have a chrono, so never measured the velocity, but according to Crosman (North American distributor of Umarex guns) the velocity is 425fps.
<br>
<br>Have you wrote a review yet (on Beretta), I wouldn’t mind reading it ;)
<br>
<br>Hawaiiratkiller, why Nighthawk; there are plenty of more powerful/accurate multishot pistols out there. CP Sport is definitely on the weak side.

Hotsky,
<br>
<br>There are a number of reasons I prefer the NightHawk.
<br>
<br>I like the NightHawk because I could modify the compensator to reduce the sound, so I could shoot at night in my yard without offending the neighbours and because it has the ability to shoot 8 shots "quickly" if necessary (Usually need only 3 at the most), so the pests cant run away into our walls and die. Also because it is an accurate gun at close ranges with the red-dot scope and flashlight it's a very easy gun to use for that purpose.
<br>
<br>And finally, the gun is just a really, really fun gun to shoot. It looks great with the flashlight, red dot scope and you can attach a NightVision scope to the weaver mounts if you wanted to. I know it's over kill and I prefer to use my Talon SS for killing pests at far distances. But for close range shots, the NightHawk works great.
<br>
<br>I have now killed (3) rats with it easily and haven’t missed one yet. I attached my Yukon 2.5x42mm NVRS to it for kicks the last time around. I just sit in our kitchen and watch them run up our cabinets to the top of the fridge. It's simply too close range to use my powerful .22 calibur pellet rifles.
<br>
<br>I agree with your recommendation that if you are going to hunt pests, you should use .22 calibur rifles. But a pistol is (generally speaking) going to be too weak, having the ability to shoot more than once "accurately" gives the NightHawk a more distinct advantage (in my opinion) over some of the more powerful single shot pistols.

Sorry for all my miss spelling. I’m in a bit of a hurry...
<br>
<br>Yes I agree with hawaiiratkiller. Well, most of it, if not all of it.
<br>
<br>But first things first, the compensator, it is not a silencer and does not significantly reduce the sound of the shot. In my opinion, it will reduce about 10% of the noise (it DOES reduce some noise, because when the sounds waves exit the barrel, it bounces around in the NH compensator, kind of gets absorbed...well, in a nut shell). The construction of the Nighthawk compensator is not the same as a real silencer. A real compensator actually adds barrel length to the gun "it compensates for barrel length". in this case, it only adds for the looks. Sorry. THE SAME GOES FOR THE BERETTA 92FS w/ compensator. It is just a little mod at the front (that does not add any barrel length).
<br>
<br>Besides that, the NH is a very fun gun. you would you prefer this over other guns because it has a SIGHT and a few other nice features. It is more fun to have a pistol with a sight on it, because you will have a very accurate idea of what you are going to hit. with an open sight, you will have to be a much better shooter and have more experience.
<br>
<br>When I'm not in the mood to concentrate on my target, I usually use my CP99 TROPHY because I love shooting with the sight. it’s awesome.
<br>
<br>some people like hawaiiratkiller are willing to trade power for fun (a sight or some cool looking mods). personally, I like the feel of the beretta, but if I’m in the mood for some fun shooting, ill use a pistol with a sight like my CP99 trophy
<br>
<br>it’s true, a sight will make it seem more accurate. using open sights is harder and much more challenging. it took me about 3000 shots to actually get really good at my open sights on my beretta.
<br>

HRK, there are many pistols that have 8 shot magazines (or more), that are more powerful; Crosman 357 has is a 10 shot, and with an 8in barrel it has a velocity of around 100fps more than CP Sport. What I’m saying is; Cp Sport is OK, but it’s not a great gun…I guess the accessories on the Nighthawk are kinda cool, but like you said it’s too much. BTW there’s a new Beretta Extreme (comes with the same accessories as Nighthawk), but I personally wouldn’t pay the extra money.
Written on: 28/02/2005
yes I agree with you on the new Beretta Xtream. you pay like nearly 200+ just for the accessories. you can almost get 2 berettas for that price. =]
<br>
<br>but anyways, I was wondering, I want to mount a scope on my beretta, and therefore I will need a rail. from my opinion, the beretta 92fs is very similar to the colt 1911. specially, the back sight. it’s only a pop on sight with a screw. if you go to www.pyramidair.com you will see a mod.
<br>
<br>this is the link: http://pyramidair.com/cgi-bin/accessory.pl?accessory_id=297
<br>
<br>in my opinion, I think it WILL fit my beretta 92fs. because the UMAREX 92fs and 1911 are very similar pistols.
<br>
<br>if you have a beretta, please tell me what you think. if not, I will buy one and tell u guys how it goes.
Written on: 01/03/2005
SL33pyRiceBoi,
<br>
<br>I bought a moderator for the CPSport and it isn’t all that much of a noise reducer. It reduces noise slightly, but not significantly! I modified the NightHawks compensator with some PVC and some fabric. It reduced the sound dramatically.
<br>
<br>Also, have you tried switching the accessories on your Nighthawk (CPSport) with the CP99? I was wondering if it would be too heavy?
<br>
<br>Hotsky,
<br>
<br>I think the Crossman would also be a good gun for eliminating pests at close range. But as I said, if you’re at close range, a little more or less than 100fps extra doesn’t make much of a difference in practice. I agree, for distance it matters.
<br>
<br>Eliminating rats in my house and yard has been interesting for me. I have shot rats with several different guns including the Condor .22 cal from roughly 25-30ft in my house. With my power setting at 6-9 using a .22 caliber 21.10gr pellet you would think that would kill a rat correct? Well, unless you make a head shot (or hit vitals) the pellet will pass right through the pest and it will run away. Even with my Condor pests have jumped to their feet and ran back into the walls.
<br>
<br>So even with the most powerful .22 cal air rifle on the market, rats still get away. With my Nighthawk, I can get close and guarantee a good shot to the head or vitals and if I dont, I get a second or third chance. At close range *power makes little difference* because anything above 350fps will pass through a rat. Accuracy plays a more important role at close distances and the NightHawk has the accuracy and correct power for this job at these distances.
<br>
<br>If I am going to shoot at further distances, both caliber and velocity make a difference then is going to matter. Do you understand my predicament better now? I can only speak of my experience in practice. And in practice the NightHawk has been extremely effective and deadly (at close range).

Well the Walther CP99 is a awsome gun by itself but for the beginer the cp sport would be best for training.
Although the trigger pull is a little off you can take it it a maintance center and get that ajusted. The safty is great it does not matter how much you pull the trigger it will not fire.. Unlike some guns where you can break the saftey and it will fire with the safty on.

I got the Walther CP sport today. When I first got it out of the box, I noticed that it was made very properly, rock solid construction, and that it was pretty heavy, I couldn't wait to get home to shoot it. I had a little trouble finding the magazine relase, but I figured it out. Once I loaded the CO2 and the pellets in, I went outside and stood a sled up in the snow, and unloaded the clip in. The sled was about 50 feet away im guessing, and every pellet penertrated the hard wood. I then... (read more)

Hmm, it seems that the front slide is a little loose, is that normal?
Written on: 19/06/2004
Yeah the slide does get loose from time to time. A snap to fix, just tighten the screw under the barrel. Also i have noticed that when the slide is tightened less co2 escapes and more power goes thru the barrel.

Shooting this gun is like shooting an Airsoft gun. The pellets can't even go into a inch thick magazine. Most of them bounced back at me. You mite as well buy an Airsoft Walther. I think all .177 co2 pistols below 400 fps are worthless. What can you do with them? (read more)
Written on: 23/06/2004
i think you've been ripped off cause the pellets as another user commented goes through solid wood(well penetrates..)so a magazine wouldnt hold any problem to probably shoot straight through
Written on: 01/11/2004
Not a Magnum type pistol but has a lot more punch than what you clam. I dropped a cotton tail stone dead at 15 yards 1 shot yesterday. I also take out regularly in my back yard to hunt small with no problems. Your call. Nice fast second shot.
Written on: 06/11/2004
Low velocity - I agree, even a Webley Tempest can beat these. Using solid, not lead compound pellets,
<br>such as Prometheus helps increase MV and penetration. As for hunting - if you are into inflicting pain and suffering they are great, but get something with some power if killing is your turn on
<br>
<br>None of you have mentioned the poor trigger on these CP 99 clones (inc the new Redhawk). I had hoped that Walther/Umarex could produce a non creep trigger. They almost managed it with the S+W
Written on: 13/06/2006
The Cp sport is a nice pistol and it is powerfull enough it would stop someone if they was running at you, anyway why didn't you just pay the extra for the Cp99?

I have had my Walther CP-Sport for about 3 months. I decided to get it after reading reviews and purchasing two GAMo pt80s. So far this gun has not let me down. I have shot about 1500 rounds and it has misfired about 5 times. I can get about 85-100 rounds out of 1 co2 cartridge. The only real downside is the velocity is very low. (read more)

hey, im looking at buying a co2 pistol and it is my first time ever buying one. I was looking at the walther cp sport, and wondered how it is on co2 consumption, and what kind of pellets it uses and that kind of thing. For those experienced gun owners that live in canada, and even better toronto, i was wondering where there is a good place where you can get guns and laser vision etc for cheap, because i am looking at buying it from canadian tire, and was wondering if there is any place where you can get it for cheaper. pleez respond. Thanks

Hey raoulco2, the cp-sport is really a nice gun and is good on co2. it gets about 80-100 shots off before lossing power. it will pretty much use any pellet i think...its only an eight shot and thats the only thing i dont like about it. prices on the cp-sport are about the same all over the web. if you dont want something that holds more then eight bbs get the cp-sport, its a hella nice gun.

<br>I'm pretty sure you can get CP sport for $100 cnd but you have to look around (check yellow pages for guns) just call different places and ask.
<br>
<br>There are better guns though, both more powerful and accurate. CP sport has a velocity of 360 feet per second. you can get a crosman revolver with 6 inch barrel pretty cheap, that shoots up to 435 fps (this is as fast as it gets in replica guns)
<br>hope that helped

raoulc02, unless you have found cheaper then $75 i think thats the best price i have found on the web for this gun after hours of lookin around so just email me if you want the site

I have a CP Sport and find it a quality, reliable and fun to shoot air pistol. I also like the fact it is made from modern materials and is a pistol in its own right i.e. does not pretend to be something else. One question, I use Crosman Pellgun oil for seal lubrication, does anyone know if this is the best lubricant?

<br>well dude ill tell ya that the pelle gun oil is the only and best oil for the gun and I recommend it highly. I use it on all my guns and its great, noting better. If you do use another substatute then you could damage the gun so stick with the crosman pelle gun oil, your on the right track...

Where I live (the USA), the CP Sports are only $65. Those Canadians are very fond of their pellet guns because it's almost illegal for them to own a REAL gun. You see in North America nobody cares about pellet guns because we can own THE REAL STEEL JUSTICE! I'm talkin .50 BMG, 7.62x54mm, .480, .454 Cassull revolver, etc. Since no one cares about pellet guns here, they are inexpensive. In Canada the pellet guns are a rip off because of their strict gun laws. Nobody can buy a gun so they buy a pellet gun. And if everyone wants a pellet gun the prices of them go sky high. Do you see what I'm trying to say here?

Wather CP sport is and ok gun as far as airguns go. I personaly know that the cp99 is the better choice. The sport series are ok but the cp99 is much better quality and faster fps and a bit harder hitting then the cp sport. Also the cp sport only offers double action where as the cp99 is single and double action..and has a safty decocking ferature that the cpsport does not offer..both guns look a lot alike but infact are very different.. also for those that want more speed and a bit more hitting power use the Crosman Pellgun oil and a Qtip and oil the inside of the barrel after about 30 shots of working in the oil film, it will help FPS a bit more. As for the hitting power use brass eagle CO2. The crosman jetts are lowpower output and the brass eagle are much stronger. Bress Eagle are cheaper, you can get 15 jetts for 10 bucks canadian of the Brass eagle as opposed to the crosman at 10 bucks for 10....5 more co2 extra is a good savings, and getting more air and better fps is worth it.....

Dahh...the CPS and the CP99 are the same pistol EXCEPT that 1. the top slide is not metal (CPS); 2. as stated the CPS is double action only; 3. the CPS is emblazoned with "Umarex" rather than "Walther". Below the top slide these are the same pistol, same frame, internally likewise. FPS different? Are you kidding? Check this review: CPS vs CP99

what is the problem with the triger
